Prompt:What are five things you believe about yourself?

This is a difficult prompt. The things I believe to be true aren’t necessarily how others perceive me. Anyway I’ll attempt to find five things I believe to be true about myself.
Here goes:
1. I believe I am loyal, certainly to my family. As for friendships I’ve never considered myself a great friend. That’s not to say if any friend asked for help I wouldn’t be there in a heartbeat. No, it’s that catching up, meeting for coffee, going shopping sort of girl friend dates, then I’ll admit if I can wriggle out of them then I will. And that’s the truth.

2. I’d never be unfaithful to my husband. That is and always was set in stone.

3. I believe I have a really great sense of humour. We have had so many dramas to overcome during our lives I don’t think we would have survived without my sense of humour which can make most people relax and see the funny side. Even if sometimes it’s a black humour.

4. I am stubborn and strong, perhaps not physically anymore but emotionally. I don’t crumple under adversity.

5. Im a true Cancerian. I show my hardened shell to the world but I have a very soft underbelly which I only allow a few to see.
