Some days the poetry flows,
Today is not feeling like that day.
To confine my thoughts to yesterday
Leaves me weak and filled with despair
To work a blog into a poem
Seems forced and beyond compare.
I do pray that I will find
My muse, who has gone away to hide
Perhaps she's hidden within the piles
I've been sifting through all week.
This month has been a busy one
I was hoping for a break
But it seems someone has raised the bar
And a challenge dares me to speak
To add my voice to future blogs
I carry forth and rant
Onto the page it bleeds and morns
And tells the tales, my woe.
