The blog of the irreverent and irrelevant. Come in and join the madness.
The blog of mine enemy. Everyone wants to know what is happening with other people and from here you can find out just what is going on in my morbidly mundane existance. The book starts now, will include occasional annecdotal memories and will mostly be written under the cover of darkness when the law cannot catch up with me.
Take a look inside and see if you like - there's something for everyone, with information about my current projects, upcoming works, answers to questions and details on updates to my websites.

Another day dawns, another blog entry emerges from the primordial soup, shakes a couple of croutons from its feet and stomps off looking for exposure.

Hubble bubble, toil and trouble... My mind was lost in a pile of rubble.

Thankfully, i only need to communicate with it every so often. We have a good relationship...it sends me post it notes telling me what to do next, i do it. It's better this way, it stops us arguing .

Anyway, enough of this unworldly twaddle. There's bigger things to be discussed.

So what's upcoming? Well here's the rundown...

Chapter 4 of "The Last Magician" is up now. I did warn it was short, but it is one of those necessary chapters that has to be done.

Chapter 4 of "Bram Stoker's Dracula Retold" will be on the site tomorrow.

The next chapter of "A Christmas Carol Retold" will appear in the next few days.

And finally, a new poem called "The Fallen" is up on the site now, and a new co-writtten novel based on it is in its early stages. If you get a chance to take a look and watch out for more information on the novel "Angelo" soon.

Well that's it for now, there's writing to be done.

Until later,

Anthony

So, how is the Friday blog different to those from another day? It's written on a Friday. Not rocket science really.

Well, i write this blog through the pain of war wounds and stiffness in the thighs and groin. It's from playing football (aka soccer) people! Wash your minds out!

But pain is no barrier. My fingers work, and unfortunately my mind cannot be shut down. So, the bandwagon continues rolling along without a driver or a map. Don't know where we're going but we'll get there eventually.

So what's new. Well other than a handful of grazes and cuts, the latest chapter of The Last Magician was posted yesterday. Those of you following the story will be happy to know Chapter 4, The Road Home, is almost complete. It is only a short chapter and i have most of Chapter 5, The Final Distance, written. However, i like short chapters; the don't strain the eyes and they are easy to keep up with.

In other news, Chapter 3 of Dracula is fresh from the crypt and will be making its way into the light later today. A new Sandman poem is coming soon. And to top it all off a brand new co-written fantasy story, tentatively entitled "Angelo", will begin soon too.

Well there you have it. Another day passes, another blog is written. This is becoming a habit.

Until next time, folks.

Anthony.

Doesn't it really piss you off when the title is completely irrelevant to what follows?

So, blog time again. I think it is time to set a few simple rules...not for you, for me. As i have quite a few stories running here now, maybe it would be good to have some idea when they will all continue. As soon as i work it out, i will let you know.

For those interested, i know Chapter 3 of The Last Magician is entitled "Tombstone" and will be posted later today, Chapter 3 of Dracula will be posted tomorrow, and the second chapter of A Christmas Carol will also be up tomorrow - prepare to meet Gin, The Spirit of Christmas Past.

Also for anyone tracking activity of the Tales From The Backside website (www.talesfromthebackside.co.uk - a shameless plug i know) an entry on the Titanic and Bonnie and Clyde will be posted by tomorrow.

Oh joy, another blog over. Time to prepare for the next one.

Another day, another blog entry.

It won't last you know!

But while it does, lets enjoy it. I'll just sit back a moment and admire my work. Oh, i have to write it first. Bugger.

So what can i say today. Well, there's been additions to both The Last Magician and Dracula. One serious, one humourous. Something for everyone.

Very little else of interest to say at the moment. I'm appreciative of the people who have stopped by to review some of the work here and those who have ventured to my two external websites. You brave, brave people.

Well, that's enough gumph for now. There are stories to be written, films to be watched and an abmornal life to be led.

Adios amigos.

Good morning, evening, afternoon or whatever hour it may be in your part of the ballpark.

Just a quick blog today.

Two new additions have been made to the portfolio. The Book of Twisted Tales, a collection of adult rhymes - caution should be given as these are not for the faint of heart - and The Last Magician, the apocalyptic first part of an epic story called The Syndicate.

Take a moment to stop by and have a gander if your goose has not been cooked.

Ciao for now.

The one problem with blogs is that too many people don't update them very often. Although this is not a problem if you blog is full of how many times you have walked your dog, or which toe you pulled fluff out of today, then no one is going to die if they have to wait a little longer than usual.
Famous bloggers however, those who have millions of followers and worshippers, can be the founding fathers of frustration when they fail to blog for weeks on end. The fans want to know what is happening.
Well i'm currently worshiped by two people, which is enough reason for me to update my blog.
Well today's big announcement is that the second book in the Retold Series is now here - the first chapter of Bram Stoker's Dracula Retold is available to read.
In the next couple of days, i will also be adding the stories of The Titanic and Bonnie and Clyde to www.talesfromthebackside.co.uk
And finally for now, don't forget to check out the interactive stories An Imp's Odyssey, The Family and Grim Reaping and try your hand at a chapter.

Until the blog comes round again - ciao for now.

Well, I've heard it is a good place to start.

So, over to my biographer for this opening anouncement,

Greetings,
This is the blog of Anthony Lund, an author from a small village in Durham, England. He is currently preparing to take the world by storm with his Retold Series of comedy retellings of some classic stories, The Grim Reaper Series, and a number of other works. Details of Anthony's works in progress are available through his website at www.anthonylund.co.uk.
Alternatively, take a look at his latest project at www.talesfromthebackside.co.uk. Here you will find a slowly expanding collection of alternate views of history. culture, places and people. The Tales From The Back Side website also offers the chance for you to request your own tale, and details on the Retold Series.
That is all from me at the moment,
Good evening to you all.

Well there you have it folks, the first little bits of information have filtered through. Now after reading that, i'm off to see what those websites of mine are all about. I'm sure I should know about these things.

Ciao for now.
