A big, heartfelt thank-you to all of my fans and supporters! Welcome to the randomness, silliness, craziness, and all-around tomfoolery ā what a great word that isn't used nearly enough ā that is my blog. Don't get me wrong, it isn't always silly and crazy. Sometimes it's serious or sad but, more often than not, it's comical. Nonetheless, it is always entertaining. I try to see the fun in life. I'll add to it as much as I can so make sure you check back often. Feel free to leave a comment or review to let me know you stopped by. DISCLAIMER: If you are someone who gets offended easily, then you shouldn't go any further. I'm up-front, to-the-point, sarcastic and honest (sometimes brutally so). I tell it like it is, or the way I think it is. If you don't get offended very easily, then you've come to the right blog. All are welcome. The fun is free! My life is an open book blog. Hilarity and chaos ensue... ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
Day 10 Prompt for the "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" : You are being driven around by the worst driver ever. Ugh! Iām fairly certain we all have a horror story about bad drivers. My story took place a very long time ago. My friend, Stacie, had picked me up at my parentās house. Sheād been driving for a year and had had several accidents that we all loved to tease her about. Anyway, I still got into her car. I was a fearless teenager, so why not? I donāt even know where we were going. Probably the mall. Thatās what teenagers do. It was pouring rain. Stacie didnāt come to a complete stop at a stop sign and a car came and slammed into us. On my side of the car. It blew out my right shoulder. Cracked my head on the windshield. I almost went through the windshield, actually. I ended up having my shoulder reconstructed and my friend turned in her driverās license. Literally. The very next day, she went to the DMV and handed her driverās license in. She told them that, āshe almost killed her best friend, so she had no right driving.ā She got it back a year later and was a much better driver after that. I guess she just needed that year to grow up a little more. Since those days, NJ has actually made it harder to get your license and you canāt get it until youāre 18 now. If those had been the rules back then, maybe the accident wouldnāt have happened. Then again, who knows? Life is a crapshoot. You get what you get. You guys can probably tell that Iām just not feeling it today. Sorry. I had the flu a few weeks ago. I think I mentioned that. The doctor said the cough would linger for several weeks before it finally went away. The problem is that itās getting worse. Iām coughing so much that Iāve lost my voice and I have a horrible headache. I apologize for the short, lackluster entry. I know Iāve got to get back to some comments and read other blogs too. Iāll do it tomorrow. For now, Iām off to bed. Dateline The one great thing is that Iām going to see Chris again on Thursday night. I canāt wait to see him again! Music, Music, Music Hereās a little video to end this entry. Good night, all. [Embed For Use By Upgraded+] |
