Simple stuff, really. Musing uncharacteristically challenged. BLog
My favorite thing about the PDG is that I get to be a squatter in the Student Lounge, otherwise known as Charlotte’s Lounge. I didn’t really have much choice because there is this Dragon that captured me and makes me do her bidding, you know. I really don’t have to even keep the place clean except to occasionally delete some links that get shut down. I certainly enjoy being surprised by others who come in and move things around and even update things. Not just any Paper Doll Gang member can make changes there, I believe they have to be a level 13 or above, meaning they have to be at least a Junior Leader in the group. The newbies who go through the Lounge are all important, though most only ever post once there and never again. That is okay too. We all have our lives to live. It is like I am sitting on the front porch waving hello to every passerby. Most times, I get a friendly hello and almost never a goodbye. Occasionally, I will run a contest for Charlotte and a few of the passersby’s will stop in for a bit and play a short game. I try not to get into anything too elaborate. People do get upset when the rules are too complicated. I don’t want upset people!

So I do require gp’s upon occasion, but not too often. Charlotte likes the shiny things becoming one with her scales. There is a special ritual that I am willing to share with you that allows me to get gp’s from the group leader. Here it is:
Nope, I take it back. the ritual is too precious to share.

So, this about covers my most favorite thing about the PDG; I like greeting people and watching them go on to more fame. Yep, there it is!

Day one: I am removing two layers of shingles from my house. I spent several hours on the roof and I am nearly one-third of the way done removing the shingles. I have a 20 yard dumpster coming in tomorrow. Guess I will have to pick up the shingles that fell to the ground. I did put tarps down to catch what I could.

While up on the roof, I imagined people stopping in and volunteering to help out of the goodness of their hearts. Of course, I was simply dreaming and it did make me smile. No one stopped. Does that mean people don't care or wouldn't help? Not at all! We all have our own problems to deal with and help often comes in different ways. For example, It isn't raining!

Let's see, I came back from my vacation and I had about 2 emails in my email. Then, I saw I had about 850 emails in my email and I am not sure what I did but I managed to delete them all. The way things are going, I won't likely get too many more emails here. I suppose my coolness has worn out. Wait a minute! I was never cool!

Back to work tomorrow. Things will get back to some sort of normalcy, I suppose. I am in a never ending rut, it seems. Scooby might say, "Rut, Row."

Thanks Brett for this balloon!

So, my wife gets a bunch of fabric in tubs from a fellow I know. She has the gall to try and get me to make a homemade apple pie for the fabric! That stuff was for her and then she wants me to do the extra work for it? Especially when I had nothing to do with it and I have been being good at all the parties and camping with the In-Law's and such. Poor me.

So it seems that people, certain people, thrive on upsetting others. Who is shocked by this? I too am guilty of this but I try to catch myself and put myself back on the right path. I have seen more than one person find religion and what it meant to them, and suddenly become people I myself wouldn't want to be around. I am a sinner, I admit, but If I cannot laugh, living wouldn't be as fun! Oh, from experience and personal belief, living is worth living because as serious as I am today, there is a laugh just around the corner.

If Skittles were made for zombies, how then would their slogan go?

Went to a planetarium with my family yesterday. It was a modern type of theater dome and it was very much in 3d. It made me quite dizzy, but wow! It was awesome! They showed a short film of some aliens looking for the perfect planets and they went from planet to planet within our solar system and visited each planet, telling a few facts about each. One of our planets have over sixty moons! I want to visit. Can I? Can I? Who's with me?

When you get down on your knees (So to speak) and pray, you do so with the heavenly church, a myriad of Angels will pray with you. I suppose, this being true, one can only hope our mutual prayers should jive, eh?

I have been watching youtube videos on writing improvement and the common message seems to be simply to practice. Not only that, but your intended audience my not be able to appreciate your written word so you might have to broaden the scope of the audience. Oh, and never give up hope. Imagine the worlds we create coming to existence and someone, somewhen, may experience them. That is just fun to imagine. Write for the sake of writing. Make a better world!

Inspired by Louis Armstrong's, "What a wonderful world"

It isn't meant to be perfect, just creative juices flowing. It was worth it.

Part one
Star system arrival by mothership
Seemingly uninhabitable planet, expect terraforming normal.
Planet resists terraforming and requires they check it out
Planet of ghosts, but the ghost only seems to exist on its surface.
On the planet’s surface they dig deep and build a city beneath the surface.
An unfortunate accident happens and they realize the ghosts can be very harmful, even deadly so they remain safe beneath the surface
Someone jokes about the surface being Heaven and they weren’t ready to go to Heaven.

Part two

Their children, it was discovered, could communicate somewhat with the ghost
Years progress and the children are nearly grown up and the realization that they are leaving with the ship still in orbit comes to fruition
The children are really projections of the ship and their memories will be given to the adults that are grown in vats upon arrival at the next planet far away
The real children actually born on the planet mingle with the projected children
Before the ship departs to another destination, some of the natural born children manage to get aboard the ship and essentially become ghost aboard the mothership because they have been altered by the entities of this planet and will become able to survive the trip to the next planet...

This mother ship is, What a wonderful world!

Good day! I had a story in mind, thinking of a way to curb the likelihood to do stupid things. How do you do that? Science has made wonderful progress in nano-tech. These critters can redirect the energy floes within the body in order to decrees the statistical likelihood of bad decisions. What better way to control a species that is out of control? Sound a bit like zombies? Not zombies, maybe close though. Guess what? These critters may alleviate the need to feed by mouth because they can collect the nutrients needed to sustain life. Hmmm. Better way to increase brain activity for the neural network!

I could spend all day complaining about the things that aren't quite the way I would like them. Little messes that don't get cleaned up, something not put back, that sort of thing, but then I see the little things that say I love you. My wife bought the yellow potatoes for me even though she prefers redskin potatoes and didn't say a thing. She bought cherries for me and didn't say a thing. Guess I can overlook complaining about too much, eh?

In order to check myself from complaining too much about stuff, I like to ask if there is anything else I can complain about right now. Such questions usually check the negativity that can go with such conversations. Who did this help today? Hello? Hello?
