An image for a blog that I hope will take root. Do you fast?

I am asking all of my Christian family and friends to join me in fasting breakfast for one week. During the fast we are going to lift up each others prayer requests. My prayer request is for more holiness in an area of my life. God knows all about it. During this week of fasting and prayer I will be pulling one of my Christian brothers aside and confessing some things that the Lord wants me to confess. So if you join the fast, and I hope you do, find somebody you know will remain close mouthed and confess any sin in your life to them. The Lord has promised victory through this fast. Whether victory is promised for all who participate or just a select few remains to be determined but I know that I was promised victory if I would declare a fast. I declared it and several others here at the assisted living facility I live in joined with me, added their own requests, and it mushroomed from there. Now I am inviting you to join. The fast can be a full fast or a Daniel fast (drinks and vegetables), for breakfast starting today and lasting until next Sunday) January 13, 2019. Victory!
