| Today has been good. I got up late though. Jim has not came back yet from work. I he’ll be home in 30 minutes I assume. It’s 5 P.M. now. I had two- and a-half cups of coffee. I spent some time in the Word. I read over the rest of the hand out we were given at the meeting last night. It was full of good verses. 1Peter 1:6 Wherein you greatly rejoice though now for a season. If need be you ae in heaviness inn manifold temptations. 7 That the trial of your faith being more precious than gold though tried by fire… I almost have it all down. LOL. I spent over 40 minutes on extending my outline and it looks sound. I have been adding more filling content – not that it is fluff or meaningless jabber. It is actually driving the story more. I numbered two of my chapters. I need to submit that puppy. On general basis, people that have seen my book or have heard about it from me are quite curious about it. My flash drive is messed up. It will not open the stored files. It says it needed to be reformatted and that that would delete my content. I want to make a copy of my story on my desk top to my flash drive. So I am basically replacing my story onto the flash drive. I said okay then it said it could not be reformatted possibly due to a read only memory. I have modified what is on my flesh drive plenty of times. I think it is because it has been unused for a long time. Sometimes after periods of time it takes a few minutes for the file box to come up for the flash drive. I may need a new one. Last night I was encouraged to got a job. But at home my mom and stepdad are against it, saying I can’t handle the stress. I don’t know what do. I fear to say I am a grown person who can look after myself but then Jim wood say get out of the house, get a job and live on your own then. It looks like am not getting a job. Uhg. Oh well. It is what it is. Only God can persuade them both. I had three pieces of a small pizza. I put the rest away. I will try to cut out some the fats, oils and sweets. I bought some cheese crackers. I had like five chips then I closed the box. That’s self-control. lol. Tomorrow evening is Harvest Festival. I’m excited. I will not be eating any candy. Well, Chad is on the phone. Goodbye. |
| I started my new Thrice Prompted story. I got down about 500 words. It took me roughly 30 minutes to do. I wrote an outline for it and I already got to the end of where the outline stopped. I have to put in more conflict and storyline for it. I missed the gym again. I’ll try again tomorrow. lol. I honestly miss it. Jim is off all day today. Good for him. Not much has happened yet. Merlin will be taking a trip to a potential owner around 7:30 P.M. I fret to think Merlin will be reclusive and hide from whoever tries to be around him. It may be a bust. We have to find him a good home somehow. The poor thing. I have not hit the PS4 today – due to Jim being home mostly. Tomorrow I will not play either. I was up at like 11:45 P.M. last night. Chad sent me a link and I got back to him immediately. He was like “OMG your up late for once.” lol. ‘I need to buy eggs. I’m starving. And there is no stuff to make salads. I have a pizza in the freezer. Jim may say it’s unhealthy though. I did pick up some cheese crackers and licorice for my mom and Jim. All the packages at the store felt hard. So I couldn’t help that. I still have to number the rest of my pages in my novel. It shouldn’t take too long. I need to submit. For some reason the word spotting function is not working. I pressed Ctrl F. That is supposed to do it. I’ve done it once before. So the next reiteration of the Tales of Arcadia, called Three M, will be listed on Netflix at the end of the year I believe. My mom saw a fifteen second trailer of it. I still need to see it. From the last episode, of Trollhunters two characters were shown. From some dialog and actions of these individuals, it is implied they are aliens. They next Dragons movie comes out early next year. My mom and I may see it in theaters. I don’t know though. Someone fanned me today. And my blog/journal was tagged on a page belonging to another WdC member. That was nice. I’ve seen some writing vids on YouTube that were recommended for me. I may look at them. One can never have too much information. Chad sent me a link over an hour long. I did not watch it. My ride to church went off-roading. | I’m going to give the PS4 a break for a few days. I played for two hours today. I have to write daily from now on. I must read more too. I found a nostalgic Thrice Prompted prompt. I think it was exploring ruins and finding a man with a crown. Well CVS is a bust. The store director said they are not hiring. I called Teriyaki Madness and the person said she thought they’re hiring. She said to come in and get an application. I was stoked until my mom and Jim advised against it. They could be right. Their thing is that it will get me flustered dealing with bad customers and thus can give me anxiety to the point of an attack. I don’t think so but they maybe they both right on the other hand. Jim and my mom suggest finding an online job that caters to my passion – writing. Of course I’d prefer that over a retail job. Who wouldn’t? Nevertheless, I am excited about getting an online writing job. First I must publish my book. That will give me some resume material and help me to land a writing job. My associate’s degree will help somewhat as well. I signed up for the Festival at church. I think I volunteered for the horse shoe contest. Last year it was the can knock down. They may have a band outside as well. So, I’ll need to bring my earplugs. lol. It will be fun. Ben Smith, a friend from church, had a small gathering of six people. They watched a movie – Thor Ragnoroc. I spelled that wrong. lol. I was texting Ricky briefly who was there. That movie was funny at times. Today at church I spoke with Jared my friend –sort of, and I was talking about my quest for a job. They were really encouraging. Chad sent me a link with a dude talking about gay women in games. Apparently, it is in one of the Assassin’s Creeds. How horrible. Times are getting bad. Jesus is coming soon. (= Today in service, Jimmy talked about the roles of older men and older women. He was saying how most of the women rarely went outside their homes. Sober also means sensible and clear headed. And that they often got drunk together. Most of what he said escapes me. lol. Ben is thinking of holding another gathering. This time the theme will be Supper Smash Bros. I may go to that. I just got off the phone with Chad. He does not work for the next five days. The poor guy needs it to rest. Tomorrow I plan to finish numbering my pages of my novel. I may just manually fix my over indented lines. I there is one chapter that is like that. | Jim is off today. I thought he was working. I hit the Ps4 for too long – over an hour. Uhg. So I got a text from someone saying they were going to talk to me about positions at CVS. I called the provided number and they were a third party group for setting higher learning more or less. They asked me if I was planning to go back to college within the next three months. I was like uuu…okay this is false claiming. I pretty much had to shoot them down and say I was not interested in furthering my college education. So I called the CVS by my house and asked if they could check if they got my application. I was told to speak to the store director Cody tomorrow morning. I hope they got it. After some music I will number my story pages. It will be a cumber some task. I’ll do it little by little. I also have a problem where some of my first sentences of my paragraphs are too indented. My bro and his family of his wife and baby are coming to Vegas on the 17th of December. If I don’t figure it out by then, he should be able to help me. I may figure it out before then though. For the contest I got a message from Uncommonspirit and Zen. They more or less reiterated that posting in the FSFS HUB doesn’t protect rights. So I made it an official b-item required entree for the contest. I hope I get a good number for people who enter. Only Uncommonspirit has said he is entering. It’s only been a day though. I’ve been meaning to ask David to give more prompts for the thrice Prompted activity. The remaining ones does not interest me. And apparently the TP activity is not going on yet. I’ll see what’s up with that. It’s a wonderful 98 degrees outside. I have to go back to the gym. I always flake out and turn off my alarm. Geez. When will I learn? So this Thursday I’ll be getting my fillings at the dentist’s office. I’ve been flossing and hydro flossing and regular flossing now. I was told to do that. I have 11 cavities. Chad sent me a pic on my phone of him in his spiky jacket, Jason mask and his lightsabers. It does look cool. He’s doing it for Halloween. It is not a very wholesome thing. That’s why we have Harvest Festival at church. I don’t know if Chad works or not today. He sometimes calls me on his walk to work. I may call him later and see. | This will be brief as it is 40 minutes to 7 P.M. I woke up twice and was able to go right back to sleep. The third time it took a while later. I heard Jim go to work at like 4:20 A.M. Unfortunately, I missed the gym. I was able to format my novel for the most part. I just have to number my pages. There are still some paragraphs that need the first line not so indented. I looked up a vid on YouTube about doing indenting on a whole. I’ll go back tomorrow and fix it. It shouldn’t be too hard. I’m excited about submitting it for the first time. A lot of people like my story. My bro Josh told me to omit the work “cock” in the beginning of one of my chapters. He really emphasized the importance of correcting that. I was able to use a function to see where I used the word “cock.” I also used it to see where I spelled the protagonist name as Thalus rather than Thaylus. I changed it for pronunciation reasons. Well, I got my two reviews from the Inspiration Quotation WdC contest. Both generally liked it and gave it four stars. So I did not win a place. Perhaps I’ll do better in the Short Shots contest. November is Nano wrimo. I am obviously aware I spelled that wrong. I may participate this year. It will give me an excuse to write. I read a chapter from the book I’m reading. It took forty minutes. I want to begin the Thrice Prompted activity already. I also left a message to David asking if I could do a mini contest. It’s been two days with no response. He’ll get back to me tomorrow sometime I assume. Merlin is finally getting the boot-the question is where and when. Jim is very adamant about getting rid of him. I won’t miss the barking. | While not much has happened, the day has been good. I awoke at about 10 A.M. after turning off my alarm at 6 A.M. lol. Then I lay in my bed for an hour or so more. I got up took my supplement pill then took my morning med dose and made breakfast. I had coffee but with little creamer. I was out of the almond creamer. My cup of coffee was very bitter but still good. My mom was telling me about her teenage to young adult years. She loves to talk. lol. I’m waiting for Ricky to send the group text of where we will be going to eat. Well, I won’t be getting anything to eat. My mom got a call from the doc’s office about her blood work asking for her to come in ASAP. She got an appointment for 4:45 P.M. I’d go with her but I have to go to church at 7 P.M. Jim is on the phone about finding a place to give Merlin to. The obnoxiousness of his bark has reached an apex. It looks like it’s really going to happen this time. Only Nimue will be with us in the house. I hope we get a new dog. But it will have to be a puppy. We think Merlin’s fear and barking came from an abusive owner. Jim is beaming about getting rid of him. I will not miss the barking. lol. I hope God puts him with the right adopter – maybe a single lady or something. Jim is off today from his second job (obviously) and he will be off from Albertson’s tomorrow too. I’m asking God to give me a greater desire for his Word. I need to grow in my walk. I will be serving at the Harvest Festival. I just have to sign up tonight. Last year, I did the knock-the-can-down game. It was fun a little. I may skim off the top of the candy stash for the kids. He, he. I’ll see my friend Craig there too. I have not hit the PS4 in a few days. I just haven’t for some reason. I think I’ve not had the time. I might have if Chad had not called me. He is off today. We talked for about an hour-and-a-half. He was talking about work again. He showed me a vid of his Kylo Ren lightsaber. It looked cool and made a nifty sound when he swung it. So I will apply for a job at CVS. That’s what we’ve been praying for at the meeting. Is still have not told Jim or my mom. I think they’ll be cool about it. Jim was on the phone with my bro Josh. Jim was trying to fix a date around his schedule at work. He was going to ask for some time off from both of his jobs. However, it will be a very small window if possible. I also spoke to Josh about my story. He reminded me to fix something in one of my chapters. Well that is it for now, Goodbye. |
| Today has been a blessing. I prayed for a quick in and out at the doc’s office. When we got there at about 12 P.M. only two people were there! We got right into the PA’s office in like five minutes. She was a black lady with some sort of accent. She was very nice and quickly wrote up all my prescriptions. I told how I use scripture and the power of prayer to combat my anxiety. She said that faith is the best helper even more than regular cognitive therapy. I wanted to witness to her but it was not the right setting or time. An old lady at Most Excellent Way mentioned taking valerian root. I asked the PA if valerian root would help. She said that it could also increase anxiety. So I’m staying away from that. I’ve made it my mission to witness to my cousin who is now in jail. I want to ask my mom if she could take me to visit him- God willing it will happen. I just did two short reviews – on a poem, the other very brief story about a fat cat. It was charming but a little boring. The poem was excellent! I gave it four-and-a-half stars. It was titled “Away.” It was a couplet poem –my poem of choice. lol. I really want to seek God. I just posted another verse on my bathroom wall. It is 1 Peter: 6-7 Wherein you greatly rejoice though for a season.” That is wat I have down so far and I posted it today. I just need to give chapter headings for my last five chapters. And also I must number my pages and space the pages correctly. Jim did not go to his first job this morning at Caesar’s Palace. Rather he went to Alberton’s at about 10:30 A.M. I’d say. So In Most Excellent Way, we’ve been praying for a job for me. I want to work at the CVS next door but I have to go online. I called In ‘N Out and they said to go to the website to apply too. The Walgreens next door are not hiring. I was told so. Lord please give me a job at CVS pharmacy. Chad called me on the way to his job. He was saying how three people quite on the spot. Apparently, they did not show up for work. He also told me about his new lightsaber replica he is supposed to be getting in the mail. He started at 2 P.M. and he gets off at 11 P.M. So I texted Dan at 7 A.M. I said “do you know da way?” He did not get back to me. lol. I’ll see him tomorrow at church. Jim has the door open to cool the house down. Bugs are getting I’m sure. My mom and I went to Smith’s to get lunch meat and cheese. We got other things too. A Filipino girl at the deli reminded me of Ann. lol. Well that is it for now. Good bye. |
| Ah, I love doing my blog/journal. It’s so releasing. Unfortunately, I did not get my blood drawn this morning. It was about 12 P.M. and I roused my mom and asked her about doing my blood. She said she was supposed to do her blood too but she was supposed to fast and she accidently ate something. So we’ll both be doing our blood early morning on Monday. Today is Friday. Finally, my brethren, whatever in true, whatever is noble, whatever is just, whatever pure, whatever is praise worthy, whatever is of good report, think on these things. Philippians 4:8 I think I got everything. But I might have missed one. It should have read: Finally, my brethren, whatever in true, whatever is noble, whatever is just, whatever pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever is of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things. | Today was dentist day. I have eleven cavities on my left and right side of my jaw teeth. The doc said they will work on one side first and then the other. And now they tell me I have to use the hydro floss and regular floss now. I go back in two weeks. Well, Chad is on the phone. So I will bid thee ado. |
| Ah, it’s good to be back doing my journal. It’s been a few days. lol. My mom and I were supposed to go early to get my blood drawn but that was a bust. I have a dental cleaning tomorrow and so does my mom. I’m hoping and praying for no cavities. I still need to have a decaying molar that needs extracting – not looking forward to that. Uhg. But the dental people suggested removing that molar and my two remaining ones too. I finally fixed my page break issue with Word 2010. It was as easy as clicking and then unclicking an option. And after that I managed to stumble on to making a title page. I’m not sure what I did but it’s done. Now I need to do three things: Put a chapter header on the first page of each chapter, find out how to automatically indent lines and paragraphs, and number my pages. First, I’ll put the header on each chapter and then get rid of the page break. Oh, and I have to put all text into single space, and put 6 point spaces between lines and paragraphs. I added more to my Short Shots entry. I need to finish it so I can edit it. The new leader of the FSFS group seems pretty cool. He is requesting for helpers to volunteer to take positions of responsibility. He also said he will be issuing a newsletter every other week. Like before , anyone can submit articles that are constructive and helpful. I am quite exited! I can’t wait to submit my 13th Thrice Prompted story. Tonight is church. After service, we’ll be going to Raising Cane’s. I’m still on my diet so I must not indulge on delicious fries, toast and chicken tenders. I’ll just fellowship. I bee live Jim has one more day off from work at Caesar’s palace. I hope God helps him make a smooth transition back to work. He’s watching sports right now. Earlier on, he was looking for proper work pants on his IPhone. He finally found some. (= My sister, Sarah, texted me today. She was in Kansas and then Fort Worth TX. It was raining like crazy. She gave me a pic. Then she shot me a pic of a beautiful, cathedral-like casino in Oklahoma. It was so big she could not get a full shot of it. In the middle of our texting, my ring tone was not working. I had to turn it off then back on. That did the trick. My bro and my sister in law will not be coming in November. It has something to do with when they bought their tickets for. Instead they’ll visit early next year. I also heard my sister in law is sick and so is their baby. As for visiting us, that will happen when it suits them. Chad keeps telling me all these weird shenanigans that go on at work. He works today. I think he works from 4 P.M. to 11 P.M.
