Oh, I agree. Crutches are not for the faint of heart. I've tripped other unsuspecting, innocent people with them. I've tumbled down stairs attempting to walk with them. They are the closest I'll ever get to stilts. "I'll pick up my sticks and shuffle." Yep, that's all you can do.
I have been lucky enough to visit Niagara Falls many times and it is always a breathtaking thrill. I've been tossed about in a boat and blessed by the spray/mist. It is really spectacular in our winter with the snow and ice as a sparkling backdrop. I'm sorry this dream has never been a reality for you.
That's so funny. It's also true of cats. My older cat won't climb up but now that our kitten does, he's been climbing and exploring places he never did before. Sometimes they just need the right incentive.
People here in the United States were warned about climate change years ago. Our Vice President in 1993, Al Gore, was an environmentalist. He talked incessantly about the issue warning something needed to be done to avoid destroying our planet. People laughed at him denying there was any such problem. He was right, they were wrong. I need to answer this prompt if I have time today. Have a good one!
I can't imagine a love that intense either. And I'm very much in love with my husband. It's my second marriage, we've been together 20 years and married 16 years. If I had foolishly stayed in my first marriage it would have been 50 years. I left him before our 30th.
I've read a lot of his sonnets and wondered the same thing about the woman. I didn't realize there were 100 of them KÃ¥re Enga going to Montana that's a lot of mushy stuff.

I’m not involved in GOT Lyn. I have surgery next week and will be missing in action fora week or so. I just reviewed Lilly’s contribution last night.
It’s apple-picking season where I live and I’m so excited! Write about your favorite seasonal activities. What is something that only comes once a year, but you always look forward to?
The season I love best is Autumn. I’ve always adored that time of year. It’s not quite the same now as it was the time of my childhood in England. In the UK it meant Bonfire night, walking to school kicking piles of fallen leaves. Hunting for the best conker. ( horse chestnut) 🌰 and conker competitions.
Now I still love Autumn, but now it’s because it heralds the end of the hot weather. The Australian bush seems to breathe a sigh of relief at the cooler days.
