Hi ☺️ 🐭🐁, with so many getting awards for fantasy glad you got one for reality 🎉! I get How you feel and see the same types of life reflections in my own mind's mirror. Up till 2 years ago, had an awesome counselor. Knew her for about 6 years or so.
Since we moved to Mississippi good luck with having someone like that!...
I'm glad you write about what's real, good or bad. You express how many people feel and don't always have the strength to write.

My spirit animal is a deer. I love Kristy Parker without the s at the end. Here is another idea. Take your chapter book, download it to your computer or wherever you keep stuff, removing it from WdC. Then you won't always be looking at it and possibly bringing it up then sitting staring at it. Do that with any other unfinished stuff. Give yourself a fresh start. I find writing very simple poems rewarding. I just copy the rhyming schemes of other poems I read because there are way too many types of poems. I am not good at it, but it doesn't take much time or deep thought to write. I took a couple of my things that I just never liked off and feel I did myself a favor not risking someone reviewing them when like you said they were crap. I am great at giving out advice when I need to take some of my own advice which includes writing more consistently. Good luck!

I agree that the more you think about how you should be writing, the less likely it is for you to sit down and do it. I would hate to restart something I had started. Much down the road you can heavily edit it. I think you can just write without any mind to grammar/spelling/editing. It doesn't have to be perfect or even all of it will you keep. Maybe focus on something else that gives you pleasure. Maybe a group you belong to or just blogging. I think you say a lot in very few words so that is a plus for you. You can always do a few reviews which will be much appreciated and don't take a lot of writing. Just an idea.

I have three novels and an autobiography in my head. Yesterday I worked on two and made very little progress. I almost feel desperate because I am getting older everyday ...

But then, so many people have helped me without asking for anything in return, and not just a few. In any case, I don't ask for help unless I have no other choice.

I don't know if you still can, but you used to be able to buy stamps through the mail. Though that doesn't help the cost. You can buy cheaper stamps for postcards, but then you have to buy the postcard.

It's probably cheaper to just buy regular stamps and use a piece of paper and envelope to send the stuff instead of buying a postcard.

Good luck with Social Security. The website is great, if everything goes smoothly and you fit neatly into the little hole you're supposed to. But if something goes wrong such as forgetting your password or moving and not telling them, things can quickly get complicated.

Enjoy the goodies I send. I'll likely quit when I get back to the US.

vision board????

I'm thinking of cutting my hair off as it is always in my mouth and eyes unless I keep it tied up in a pony tail. This is the longest my hair has ever been in my life and I've always wanted long straight hair (I used to have kinky curly hair until I ruined it using relaxers and dyes). IDon't get me wrong, I love my hair being this long and I can't wait for it to get longer. It just frusstrates me sometimes because I used to have all these ideas of what I would do with it if I had long hair but my hair is not long enough to do most of them, yet.

I got a Temu delivery today (On a Sunday!!!) I got three PJ sets (okay so Terry confiscated one) a new journal (though I can't get myself to write in any of the ones I have because I don't want to ruin them) and a diamond painting that I am going to do for David.....(that I am tempted to ready for beginning saying I can't get to my other ones and I've been somewhat bored0.

I went to the Dollar store today and bought poster boards and colored index cards to build a vision board (or two). Now as I am with my journals I am afraid to get started for fear of ruining it. Yes after my recent entry I am still striving for perfection in some sort or other.....

Stuff I want to put on my Vision Board: YMCA Silver Sneakers, Yoga, Tai-chi, scheduled writing times, going to clubhouse, scheduled time for my spirituality, reading for pleasure, writing snail mail..... I know that is a lot but I am sure at least some of it will fit into my schedule which currently has NOTHING on it. Well, not completely nothing. There is Monday mornings with Sally, Wednesday afternoon Wire Wrapping Group, and Friday afternoon Crochet group. Other than that everything like writing, napping, reading my writing and magic books, coloring, and other nondescript busy work is sprinkled in like seasonings....

There is no appointment with Sally tomorrow as she is gone to a training. I'm hoping to go to Clubhouse on Tuesday and make that a regular thing. If I can't find something productive to do there though I am going to find something I can take with me and dedicate that time to.

that's all I can think of for now
