I understand completely-I like to watch violent movies when I am like that. The violenter, the better! But I watch something like Sleepy Hollow or Sweeney Todd, with cartoonish violence. Wouldn't watch something like Schinderler's List. Something theraupetic about watching people get their heads chopped off!!! I used to internalize and visual like that until they put me on paxil. God, paxil is the best drug since penicillin!
