What you don't know is that if the four stomachs are separate from each other, or a four-chambered stomach...which would make a pretty big stomach, you gotta admit. Books are useful to learning new things, but you feel like having a "hands-on" approach when it comes to the essay you're going to write. You've once read that a cow once ate a person..it was a "Ripley's Believe It or Not" story about how a young woman teasing a bull and then the bull ate her in one gulp. The young woman made it out of the cow alive and well, and stopped eatting hamburgers from that day forward. You really don't believe that story...but it raises your interest in cows and thier digestive systems.
What's the best way to study cow digestion? Go to a farm and ask about it. It might be better if a cow actually ate you...talk about a "inside scoop"!. But cows don't eat people in real life, right?
The nearest farm is 40 miles away from your hometown. This farm is rather infamous for people vanishing without a trace. Maybe they were eaten by the farm animals....a thought that makes you chuckle.
The farm is a part of a "histroical village" where people dress and look like people did in the 18th-century. So, you take a tour bus filled with people to the farm to get the chance of meeting a cow.
As it turns out, there are several cows at the farm; 4 females are 2 bulls. You manage to get close to one of the cows...but which gender is it?
