Kyle reaches deep into his left pocket and lifts out the keys to his apartment's front door. Just as he is about to put his key in, he notices a small box on his door step. "Hmm, I wonder what is?" He picks up the box and notices the name of the company that he ordered the shrinking pills from. "Wow, it actually took just as long as they said it would," thinks Kyle as he tucks the box under his right arm. He then opens the front door and walks into his apartment. It is Friday afternoon and he is happy to be at home. Kyle is content with his job, but he just wishes they would give him more hours. He knows he can do more for the company than what they let him. This is the time of day that Kyle has the place to himself, noon till 5pm, until his wife gets home. This gives him a nice window to look over his giantess stuff on the computer without his wife looking over his shoulder. She usually teases him more about it than anything. Kyle gets a beer out the fridge then sits down on the couch in the living room. He opens up the box he received in the mail and takes out the contents. There is a bottle that has at least twenty pills in and a sheet of instructions. Kyle takes a moment and reads through the instructions carefully.
Basically, the instructions tell him that by taking an entire pill a person will reduce down to 1/2" to an inch tall in about an hour. The person will stay small for about eight hours, then it will also take an hour to grow back after that. Additionally, if a person takes half a pill, they will shrink to half their size for the same time period. If they take a quarter of the pill, they will loose a quarter of their height. And the same goes for talking three quarters of a pill. The directions have the pills only broken into quarters, nothing else. Staying shrunk for eight hours happens regardless of how much of the pill is taken. At the bottom of the paper, there is a phone number to call in case of emergencies and a warning not to take more than a pill at a time. Kyle then turns the paper over and discovers an add on the backside. "Coming Soon! Growth Pills!" "That would also be interesting," thinks Kyle. He takes a big drink from his beer and thinks about what to do next. Do the pills even work? Should he try one now? Should he just show them to his wife when she gets home? He starts to imagine what his apartment would seem like if he was only an inch tall. Next,
