Carl was expecting something much more menacing at least in terms of look but the only person in front of him was a girl a year or two younger than himself . She may very well be the one responsible for all this mess, after all, mutants don't necessarily look like nonhuman things: there are mutants with great powers who look like totally normal persons....like himself for an example
She was wearing some quite boyish clothes and she was sleeping ... either she was innocent but very courageous or she was the one who made everyone run away. The young hero couldn't simply attack her while she was sleeping: what if she was innocent. He first had to wake her up.
Carl walked toward her with a quite determined face. He poked her face and asked
"Are you the one who caused this mess?"
The unknown girl just woke up but she looked at Carl with such a furious glare it almost scared him. No doubt about it: she was the one ...
"What if I am?" she asked with a very confident tone
"Then like a hero, I'd have to stop you!"
"You a hero? Please, I can make you my bitch anytime I want!"
Carl felt angry, not only she was evil but also extremely arrogant and insolent! He definitely had to punish her
"I ... I'll make you eat your words!"
"Good ... you've got some balls! Now show me what you've got or suffer the most unpleasant humiliations!"
