Today I will be sharing my experience of how Gratitude has changed my life. Long ago I heard a story about a bird who lived in the desert, very sick, no feathers, nothing to eat and drink, no shelter to live and kept on cursing his life day and night. One day an Angel was crossing from that desert, bird stopped the Angel and inquired " where are you going?" Angel replied " I am going to meet God". So bird asked angel ' please ask God when my suffering will come to an end?' Angel said " sure, I will and bid a good bye to bird. Angel reached God's place and shared the message of bird to Him. Angel told Him how pathetic the condition of bird is and inquired when the suffering of the bird will going to end? God replied ' for the next seven life times the bird has to suffer like this, no happiness till then'. Angel said when bird will hear this he will get disheartened could You suggest any solution for this. God replied tell him to recite this mantra ' Thank you God for everything'. Angel met the bird again and delivered the message of God to the bird. After seven days the Angel was passing again from the same path and saw that bird was so happy, feathers grew up on his body, a small plant grew up in the desert area, a small pond of water was also there, the bird was singing and dancing cheerfully. Angel was astonished how it happened, God told for seven life times there is no happiness for the bird for next seven life times, with this question in mind He went to visit God. Angel asked his query then God replied yes it was true there was no happiness for the bird for seven life time but because the bird was reciting the mantra' Thank you God for everything' in every situation. When bird fell down on the hot sand it said thank you God for everything, when it could not fly it said thank you God for everything, so whatever the situation may be the bird kept on repeating Thank you God for everything and therefore the seven life times karma got dissolved in seven days.

When I heard this story it landed me in a different energy zone, i felt a tremendous shift in my way of feeling, thinking, accepting and viewing life. I adopted this mantra in my life whatever the situation I faced I started reciting this mantra ' THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING'. It helped me to shift my view from what i did not have to what i have in my life. For instance if my head used to pain i thank God rest of my body is completely fine and healthy and i used to feel headache does not used to bother me. In the same manner i started using this mantra in my relationship, finance, love life, social life, business, friends, maids, colleagues and everything with which I can relate. I shared this story with my spouse and children too which brought a great shift in their behaviour. This simple mantra really had a deep impact in my life, i started feeling how blessed I am, how happy I am, how good life is.

The purpose of sharing this message is to make all of us aware how powerful is the power of gratitude is. It can reshape our life. A simple word, a simple thought, which teaches us to be grateful for everything what we have in our life has power to dissolve the karmic baggage which we are carrying from so many life times. Lets recite this mantra continuously to experience the shift in our life.
I end this article with the beautiful lines:

Be grateful, and see the change in your attitude.
Be humble, and you will never stumble.

Deep love and gratitude to all of you for reading it. Thank you😊

The dust grows on the windowsill

Gradually the dust grows on the windowsill
Looking at people going by in the street as it lays still
Hurried steps to no where
You may ask why so but then why they dwell the same path every day
Only to return again the same day or perhaps the day next
Their faces showing myriad emotions
Some worried, some doubtful, some so determined, happy or sad
Albeit bound by a common theme of restlessness
Whereas the dust keeps settling down
So calm and restful, no hurry, no qualms
Cohesively keeping all parts together in one whole
As someone deep in meditation unaware and inhibited of what the future holds
The man feeling restless even inside the room wants to open the window
Not even thinking for a moment how it will unsettle the dust
The window opens and in comes a gush of wind
The dust goes disarray, all particles separated from the whole
Still unperturbed, the dust grows on the windowsill
Calm, collected both inside and out
Looking at people going by in the street as it lays still
Hurried steps to nowhere…

🤣🤣🤣🤣
The other day I accompanied my wife when she went to the parlor for a haircut.

Reading a magazine in the reception area, I found an interesting article. I asked the receptionist if I could take the magazine next door to make a photocopy.

"Leave some ID, a driver's license or a credit card," she said.

"But my Wife is here getting a haircut," I explained.
And she replied.... we need something for which you will come back 🤣🤣🤣

JRD Tata had a friend who used to say that he misplaces and loses his pen very often.

He will use only very cheap pens so that he need not worry about losing them. He was worried about carelessness habit.

JRD suggested to him to buy the costliest pen he could afford and see what happens.

He did that and purchased a 22 carat gold Cross pen. After nearly six months JRD met him and asked him if he continues to misplace his pen.

His friend said that he is very careful about his costly pen and he is surprised how he has changed!

JRD explained to him that the value of the pen made the difference and there was nothing wrong with him as a person!

This is what happens in our life.

We are careful with things which we value most.

--If we value our health, we will be careful about what and how we eat;

--if we value our friends, we will treat them with respect;

--if we value money, we will be careful while spending;

--if we value our time, we will not waste it.

--if we value relationship we will not break it.

Carefulness is a basic trait all of us! have,we know when to be careful ?

Carelessness only shows what we don't value......!!

Have a wonderful n careful life...!!

Some Very Interesting, but very scary Predictions for the Future.._*
*1-Conventional Car Repair workshops* will vanish over a period of time.
*2-A Petrol Engine /Diesel Engine-driven Car has almost 20,000 individual components*
An electrical Vehicle has less than 50.
*In future, Electric cars will be sold with a life-time Warranty* and will be repaired only by authorised outlets.. It will take only a few minutes to remove and replace an Electric Motor in a Battery-powered Vehicle.
*3-Faulty electric motors* are not repaired in the conventional car workshops teaming with Mechanics,, but will be sent to an automated Repair shop that repairs them using Robots.
*4-The Electric motor in your Electric Vehicle malfunctions- A warning light goes on* --
so you drive up to what looks like a car wash, and your car is towed inside. While you have a cup of coffee, out comes your car with a repaired Electric motor !
*5-Petrol Pumps* will go away.
*6-Street corners will have Power meters that will dispense Electricity*
Power Companies/ Utility companies will install Electrical recharging stations at street corners.. In fact, they’ve already started in advanced countries like Sweden, Denmark and Holland.
*7-Smart major Auto manufacturers across the world like Honda, Toyota and Samsung* have already invested Billions of Dollars to start building new Manufacturing plants that will only build Electric cars.
*8-Coal Mining industry* will sink without a trace. Petroleum companies will vanish. Drilling for oil will gradually reduce. Say good-bye to the power-wielding *OPEC*
The Middle-East is heading for trouble.
*9-Homes will produce and store more Electrical energy during the daytime and will consume only a part of the power generated & will sell most of the power back to the powergrid. The powergrid will store the power and will distribute the power to industries that are high-intensive power users. Has anybody thought of a *Tesla* on the roof ??
*10-A baby of today, will only see personal cars in Museums*
The future, an Era of disruption, is approaching faster than most of us can handle.
*11-In 1980, Kodak had 170,000 employees worldwide and sold 85% of all photographic film-rolls across the world*.
Within just a couple of decades, their business model crashed and *Kodak* went bankrupt. Who would have thought of that ever happening ??
*12-What happened to Kodak and Polaroid* will happen to a lot of industries in the next 5-10 years … and most people don't see them coming.
*13-Did you think in 2000* that five years later, you would never take pictures using photographic film again ? With today’s smart phones, who owns a Camera these days ??
*14-Digital Cameras* were invented around 1975. The initial models only had clarity/ resolution of 10,000 pixels, but improved vastly following Moore's laws, as it happens with all futuristic technologies
*15-It will now happen again (but much faster) with Artificial Intelligence* Medical Diagnostics, Autonomous Electric cars, Online education, 3D Printing, Hydroponic Agriculture will change the world, beyond imagination.
*16-Forget the old book- Future Shock* Welcome to the 4th Industrial Revolution.
*17-Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and 3D Printing* have already disrupted and will continue to disrupt most traditional Manufacturing industries in the next ten years.
*18-UBER* is just a software company- they don't own any cars and *Uber* is now the biggest taxi company in the world. Ask any taxi driver if any of them, saw that coming.
*19-AirBnB* is now the biggest hotel company in the world, although they don't own any hotel properties. Ask Hilton or Meridian Hotels if they saw that coming.
*20-Artificial Intelligence:* Computers will become exponentially powerful & more accurate in understanding all facets of the world. This year, a computer beat the best Go-player in the world, 10 years earlier than expected.
*21-In the USA,* young lawyers already don't get jobs easily. Because of *IBM's Watson*, you can get legal advice ( right now, only the basic legal advic
e) within seconds, with 90% accuracy as compared with 70% accuracy when given by human beings. So, if you are planning to study law, please change your career plan. There will be 90% fewer lawyers in the future, only super-specialists will remain.
*22-IBM Watson* already helps Doctors in diagnosing Cancer. *IBM Watson* is many times more accurate than human Doctors.
*23-Facebook* now has a pattern recognition software that can recognize faces better than humans. In 2030, computers will become far more intelligent than humans.
*24-Autonomous cars:* In 2020 several models of self-driving cars are already launched. In the next five years, the entire industry will be disrupted. You don't need to own a car anymore as you will call a car with your mobile phone, it will show up at your location and will drive you to your destination.
*25-You will not need to park your car* you will only pay only for the driven distance and you can be productive, while being driven in a driverless car. *The younger children of today's generation, will never get a Driver's license and will never own a car*
*26-This will change our cities* because we will need 90% fewer cars. We can transform parking spaces into green parks.
*27-About 1.2 million people die each year in car accidents worldwide* including distracted drivers or due to drunk driving. We now have one accident for every 60,000 miles of driving. With Autonomous driving that will probably drop to 1 accident in 6 million miles of driving. That will save almost a million lives worldwide each year.
*28-Most traditional car companies will doubtless become financially unviable, with their current business models*
They will try the traditional evolutionary approach and try to build better cars, while Tech companies ( *Tesla, Apple, Google* ) will take up a revolutionary approach and build a Computer on wheels.
*29-Look at what Volvo is doing right now*
No more Internal Combustion Engines in their Cars starting with the year 2025, using mostly Electric Motors, with the intent of phasing out Hybrid models.
*30-Engineers* from Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagen and Audi are completely terrified of *Tesla*
Look at all the global companies offering Electric vehicles. They were unheard of, only a few years ago.
*31-Insurance companies will have massive trouble* Without many road accidents, the Insurance Premiums will crash. The car insurance business will taper down with the passage of time.
*32-Real Estate Business models* will undergo drastic change. Because if you can work on your Laptop while you commute, people will abandon their down-town apartments, to move far away to more beautiful and affordable neighbourhoods in distant suburbs.
*33-Electric cars* will become mainstream by 2040. Cities will be less noisy because all new cars will run mostly on Batteries.
*34-Cities will have much cleaner Ambient atmosphere, with no pollution*
And clean air as well.
*35-Renewable Power* will become incredibly cheap, apart from being clean.
*36-Solar power production* has been on an exponential growth-curve for the last 30 years, but you can now see the burgeoning impact. And it’s just getting ramped up with the price of Solar Power( per Kilo-Watt-Hour) falling down every year.
*37-Fossil Energy in trouble*
Tech companies are trying new methods to limit access to the power grid, to prevent competition from low-cost home-based solar installations.
*38-Health:* There will be Tech companies which will build Medical devices that work on your Mobile phone, which can take your Retina scan, your blood sample and you breath into it. Then, they will analyse Bio-markers that will identify nearly any Disease. There will be dozens of Mobile phone apps for Medical Diagnostics.

What are the biggest misconceptions Indians have about India?"
Recently, a software guy welcomed his Japanese onsite coordinator to his office in Bengaluru, and it actually changed his life. Let him explain what happened.

"Soon after receiving him at the airport with formal pleasantries, I took him in our company cab, and in no time, we were already chugging along the busy roads of Bengaluru. As expected, we struck up a conversation starting with the weather, and gradually moved towards topics like development, cleanliness, etc.

I think he initially hesitated to say this, but after some familiarity & comfort, he opened up & said that India has good talent but is unfortunately very underdeveloped. I was quick to remind him that India was actually a superpower till the 10th Century, and pointed out to him that this was all due to the 500 years of Mughal rule & 300 years of British rule, which broke our civilisation, and resulted in such an underdeveloped nation. I also started explaining to him about all the forces breaking India to keep our nation backward.

As I was explaining this, we were stuck in a traffic jam & I noticed him keenly observing a guy on the street spitting pan-masala right there. He asked me "You see how that guy made the street dirty? Is it because the Mughal rulers & the British taught him such habits 500 years ago?".

Frankly, I had no answer and tried to mumble something. The very next moment, he saw a vehicle on the other side of the road jumping a traffic signal, leading to chaos & more traffic jam at the other side. He pointed it out to me and asked me "You see how that guy violated the traffic rule & caused a mess? Is it because the British taught him to break rules 300 years ago? Or is it the breaking India agents who are brainwashing him into breaking traffic rules?".

My entire body became numb. I couldn't say anything. He told me "You guys seem to be an expert in passing on the blame to everyone else but yourself. It is you people who have no civic sense, no respect for rules, no respect for your surroundings, but you people know how to easily blame everything on some medieval rulers, British and breaking India agents etc. How many years has it been since you got independence? 70 years? Look at us. In 1945, our Hiroshima, Nagasaki and almost half of our country was completely destroyed, but within 20 years each of us owned responsibility, and developed. And here, even after 70 years, you guys are busy blaming others while the fault is actually within yourselves?".

That's it. I had enough of it. I felt humiliated, really pissed off & remained silent throughout the journey. But at the end of the day, when I mentally revisited everything that happened & introspected, I felt that what he said was right. Unless we stop blaming others, and we ourselves gear up, become disciplined, respect our nation, respect rules, respect our surroundings, etc, we cannot improve. And this change should come from within us."

*_What makes Manya special is the fact, that unlike her peers and fellow contestant, her childhood has been of struggle where she has gone nights without food or proper sleep. _*

*_Manya's father is a Rickshaw driver and the family of four has faced years of hardship before Manya started modelling. *_

_*Sharing photos of her family on Instagram, Manya wrote, "I have spent many nights without food and sleep. I walked for many afternoon on foot. My blood, sweat and tears became food for my soul and I dared to dream. Being the daughter of a rickshaw driver, I never had the opportunity to go to school because I had to start working in my teens."*_

_*"All the clothes I had were hand-me-downs. I yearned for books, but luck wasn't in my favour. Eventually, my parents mortgaged whatever little jewellery my mother had to ensure that I paid my exam fees in order to earn a degree. My mother has suffered a lot to provide for me. At 14, I ran away from home. I somehow managed to complete my studies in the day, became a dishwasher in the evening and worked at a call centre at night. I've walked hours to reach places so I could save the rickshaw fare. I am here today at the Femina Miss India 2020 stage to uplift my father, my mother, and my young brother and to show the world that all is possible if you are committed to yourself and your dreams,"

Our friends arranged for us to stay in Kashmir to avoid the hot season although my husband wanted to come straight to the Ashram. Since the time he was a school-boy he was interested in spirituality. It was he who brought me to it. After a few months, the British High Commissioner said women and children shouldn’t go back to Siam as the war was getting serious. My husband went back to his post and we were offered a house here. I was then able to meet Bhagavan. I had some preconceived ideas, but when I saw him… oh!… everything fell away. His eyes were transparent, looking through you. When you sat with him there was a feeling of oneness — everything is one, is one, is one!

Was he speaking in those days?
Yes, of course — I spoke with him — I used to show him my letters. My children were the first Western children who came here. They were made a tremendous fuss of. Since that meeting, all my interest in sculpture fell away — no longer important. So that’s how it started.

We all ask ourselves why we are here, what’s the purpose of life? I found from the beginning you get all the answers here — in fact, you don’t have to ask any questions. By sitting in Bhagavan’s presence everything was resolved. When I came I knew the most important thing is to find out who you really are. Those who are sincere get glimpses of that state and they know. From that, the striving to make the experience steady starts.

In Bhagavan’s presence, the silence was so powerful: it was the most potent teaching. Words — he used to say — are diffused silence. So, bathed in that silence you were, so to say, out of yourself. All your cares were thrown among the lilies, to use a beautiful expression. That was sadhana. You know, after he passed away people thought we would become desolate. Nothing of the sort! To my surprise I was walking on air: there was a feeling of elation. Do you know why? Suddenly you realized he is the inner guru dwelling in the heart, ever-present. He had said: I’m not going anywhere, where can I go?

Since then you can feel his presence more than ever. That’s why people come here more and more. They experience that radiation. And you only have to tell him something in the heart to get help, no matter what it is.

D. Then what is the difference between the baddha and
the mukta, the bound man and the one liberated ?

M. From the Heart, the Self-center, there is a
subtle passage leading to the sahasrara, the shakti
Stana. The ordinary man lives in the brain unaware
of himself in the Heart. The jnana siddha lives in the
Heart. When he moves about and deals with men and
things, he knows that what he sees is not separate from
the one Supreme Reality, the Brahman which he realizes
in the Heart as his own Self, the Real.

D. What about the ordinary man?

M. I have just said that he sees things outside
himself. He is separate from the world, from his own
deeper truth, from the truth that supports him and what
he sees. The man who has realized the supreme Truth
of his own existence realizes that it is the one supreme
Reality that is there behind him, behind the world. ln
fact, he is aware of the One, as the Real, the Self in all
selves, in all things, eternal and immutable, in all that
is impermanent and mutable.

D. You speak in very high terms of knowledge, I
began with the body. Is there any difference between
the jnani and the ajnani in bodily experience?

M. There is. How can it be otherwise? I have
often declared it.

D. Then the vedanta jnana as spoken of and discussed
is perhaps different from what is practiced and
realized. You often say that there is the real meaning
of "I" in the Heart, …

M. Yes, when you go deeper you lose yourself, as
it were, in the abysmal depths, then the Reality which
is the atman that was behind you all the while takes
hold of you. It is an incessant flash of I-consciousness,
you can be aware of it, feel it, hear it, sense it, so to
say ; this is what I call aham sphurana.

D. You said that the atman is immutable, self-
effulgent, etc. But if you speak at the same time of the
incessant flash of I-consciousness of this aham sphurana,
does that not imply movement, which cannot be
complete realization, in which there is no movement?

M. What do you mean by complete realization?
Does it mean becoming a stone, an inert mass?
The vritti is different from aham sphurana. The former is the activity of the ego and is bound to lose itself and make way for the latter, which is
an eternal expression of the Self.

In Vedantic parlance this aham spurana is called Vritthi Jnana.
Realisation or jnana is always a vritti. There is a distinction
between Vritti Jnana or Realization and swarupa, the Real.
swarupa is jnana itself, it is Consciousness.

Swarupa is Sat Chit which is omnipresent. It is
always there self -attained. When you realize it, the
realization is called vritti jnana. It is only with reference to your
existence, that you talk of realization or
jnana. Therefore, when we talk of jnana, we always
mean Vritti jnana and not the swarupa jnana ; for
swarupa itself is jnana consciousness always.

D. So far I understand. But what about the body ?
How could I feel this vritti-jnana in the body ?

M. You can feel yourself one with the One that
exists: the whole body becomes a mere power, a force-
current: your life becomes a needle drawn to a huge
mass of magnet and as you go deeper and deeper, you
become a mere center and then not even that, for you
become a mere consciousness, there are no thoughts or
cares any longer they were shattered at the threshold;
it is an inundation; you, a mere straw, you are swallowed alive,
but it is very delightful, for you become the
very thing that swallows you; this is the union of jiva,
with Brahman, the loss of ego in the real Self, the destruction
of falsehood, the attainment of Truth.
