Pre Diabetes Blues..
This poem reminds me of my diabetic husband.
After he was diagnosed when his sugar count was above 400 he was given pages of list of food that he cannot eat.
He told the doctor..You want me to die Doctor.
Then, a family friend, A Swiss nutritionist told him, just lessen sny intake of food with much sugar like desserts, but eat anything in minimal all you want to eat.
He followed the nutritionist and even drink Coke zero everyday
The diagnosed was 25 years ago.
He is taking gluvovamce tab a day and healthy as a horse today

So beautiful.
The plants and some trees in my garden are color brown now that saddened my heart.
We are experiencing El Nino or a long drought.
No water in our faucet.
Waters are delivered by truck direct to our tank and our priority is to do the laundry and water for cooking and for showers. No budget water for the garden. The heat is extreme and I wish and pray this be over soonest and enjoy a rain. Because in the past months no rain and the plants and trees are crying.
I placed plenty of water in the cat's basin outside the terrace and the birds are sharing it. I pity the birds too.
Too arid.
I love the picture that you are shsring and I miss my garden that the onlookers passing by loved to take pictures.
