I enjoy reading this.
I love cats.
I have one blind cat right now and she is pregnant.
She came at our doorstep a three months ago.
I gave her food and I knew she was blind because she cannot locate where I placed the water and her food. I tried many times so I placed it under her lap.
I do not know who owns her. Since that time she stayed at our veranda and never leave.
She will be a mother cat soon.The poem is very nice as it makes me relate on how lovely it is to have cats in the house.

Reading the last part, I was moved to tears as I remember our Papa and Mama who were both so proud of their children in each graduation that they attended..yes.. " A ceremony she never got to be in herself"
