A lengthy poem with many stanzas. The style looks different although the topic is in a narrative form. The elements of loneliness is omnipresent throughout the piece. It gives the reader a hint about the impacts of desertion when a child is left on his own. The consequences of abandonment by parents have dire effects on the thriving of the kid. At this age they need TLC.

The poem illustrates how a lonely person is being harassed by a small pest-the cockroach. It seems to be the hero of the entire poem. Dominating from start to end we see how the man is pestered by the by the insect..Although the stanzas appear quite long they describe the funny role of the cockroach.

A poem depicting the heinous activities of a band of criminals and the world of crime. There is good rhyming between the lines of the stanzas. With the setting in hell the poet emphasizes on the horrible aspect of the writing. it helps to create the feeling of dread in the poem. indeed , it makes the reader shiver with fear.

The poem is very emotional and making an appeal to man about the destruction of sea life.Indeed, in quest for food and other items from the sea man is destroying the marine environment. The verses are well written to convey important messages to humanity about his careless nature towards animals.I am impressed by this verse; If I drop your kids in a gas tank-Would you still happily stand and stare?. Only the revolt of the whale can make man realise his blunders.

Review of The Kiss of Life

A very funny poem dealing with the various procedures before going to bed.It is quite embarrassing and tiresome if you go to sleep and get up so many times for futile things. One should be psychologically prepared when retiring for sleep. The main thing to bear in mind is that if you feel sleepy and lose so much time you will no doubt have insomnia. In such situation even the sleeping pill won't work.

It seems that the poem is written to console the beloved. Even in such circumstances she still loves her boyfriend and expects much from him hoping that with the power of her love she can turn him into a new leaf. But he continues to be indifferent by gambling and living carelessly.it is said that women have unlimited patience in love. The poem illustrates this quality.

The poem reveals how the man has let himself carried away by circumstances. He seems to have lost control over all the misfortunes in his life.Sometimes we say that man is the master of his fate. But how far can this be true? It happens that we are responsible for our acts. Sometimes things are bound to happen which are inevitable. So, our life has been programmed.

Review of No U-Turn

Your reflections on success achievement lack self confidence. You want to achieve great by doing only little efforts. The main thing before attempting something is to build a positive attitude. All thoughts will remain only theories unless they are put into practise. If you want to go ahead in life you must take the road of perseverance and avoid U-turns

Review of Walls

A good poem using the caprices of nature to depict the feelings of humanity in difficult circumstances. The analogy seems to have been well described. It evokes a form of pathetic fallacy. We see how the hard feelings turn into a lullaby. Just like the torrent is lost in the flow.

Review of Through the Gates

The poem has been written on a subject which seems to be not so clear. it looks as if the person is trying to avoid someone but he/she must do a great effort to come to it. In the course of his journey, he meets many persons whom he greets forcibly. The character appears to be somehow introvert.

A very short poem emphasizing on the importance of time. In these few lines you have been able to arouse conscience of men about the judicious use of time and to awake from sleep. What has to be done to morrow should be done today and what you have to do today should be done now.Who has seen tomorrow?.Complete your task before' now' turns into' was'

The poem attempts to dig old memories and refresh the mind of the reader of a nasty event which was forgotten. The pain and sufferings have been well underlined. But when considered from the present it is overlooked and not given the due importance. However, it will spring into the mind of the individual from time to time to torture him morally.

Review of Rain
Review by Boz
Rated: 13+ | (4.0)
The poem depicts the effect of rain on the poet. It can cause blurred vision and cause illness if drenched. Some persons are afraid of the rain downpour but forget the good side of it. Without it there is now water which signifies the end of life.. You feel lost in the rain. There is a lot of confusion about the rainfall whether it is beneficial or harmful.

Review of My New Business
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (4.0)
Your story about the opening of business seems despondent in the sense that despite you spared no efforts and left no stones upturned you did not succeed. But what is interesting to note is that you still have the same guts and enthusiasm to forge ahead. In fact, this is the drive that will lead you to the path success. Bear in mind that failure is the fertiliser to success. Moreover, now that you have changed location and with a bit of luck and proper marketing I wish you all the best in your new entreprise

Review of Treasures
Review by Boz
Rated: 13+ | (4.0)
A beautiful poem well constructed praising the gorgeousness of the woman. The pretty creature has been described in various angles. With all the attributes and beauties she has been qualified as an extraordinary person. Her sparkling prettiness showers light wherever she goes. Sometimes addressed as fairy and sometimes as Queen the poet portrays her facets as treasures. Indeed her undisclosed treasures symbolise her very sense of purity. But beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Review of Too much fiction
Review by Boz
Rated: ASR | (4.0)
The poem relates the dilemma of a writer not knowing exactly what and how to write. With a variety of topics he/she seems to be at a loss of ideas. The mind tosses over different propositions but with a close analysis it is conspicuous that the fiction writer has more or less dealt with nearly all aspects of writing. Unable to produce a concrete work the poet reverts to poems. It requires appropriate punctuation.

The story reveals how a man is returning home by train after reveling and rejoicing with his friends at the festival. The writer gives a good description of Andrew who is feeling sleepy but at this point the reader does not know the reasons for his grogginess. The state of confusion is revealed only later when Andrew goes to the toilet. Here we learn that he had been boozing the whole day. He has visual and auditory hallucinations when coming back to his seat . he style seems good but it requres some fine tuning.

Review of Reflections
Review by Boz
Rated: 13+ | (4.0)
This piece about reflections depict how the person is being affected by her own image. produced by the mirror. In fact, when we wake up in the morning the first picture that is projected by the mirror is our real self. But as soon as the individual cleans and dresses himself it changes the personality. Here, the girl is manipulated by her own image and even threatened about death if she disobeys. It appears like a sort of visual hallucination. She is so engrossed in her reflections that she finds people in mirrors everywhere..

Review of Inevitable

The poem is a real personification of death. The word Thanatos signifies the the end of life. Death has been painted black in the poem. The combination of storm, lightning and other elements of nature are at work to annihilate the world and all its contents. It symbolises the approach of Doomsday. I get the impression that you are refering to Gabriel, the angel of death.. it is filled with horror and awe.

The story is set into a remote area of the town with the boy playing his guitar and trying to obtain a few coins from the passers by. Accompanied by his dog he 's mesmerising the listeners with the melodious music. The author keeps the reader in suspense about the woman who works in the restaurant. It 's a good way to keep the story going on. Only at the end we learn that Nora is the boy's girlfriend.

Review of OH, The Pleasure

The poem is highly debatable regarding the methods of quenching thirst. It penetrates into the world of Bacchus with the display of Gin, Vodka and whisky. The thirsty man doe snot only want to soak the throat but is in search of the latest intoxication. He feels the need to go far from soberness. In quest of sensation the drunkard is willing to lose his senses. There is constant rhyming in between the lines. I appreciate the line'Numb my spirit free my brain''

Review of Ghetto Life
Review by Boz
Rated: 13+ | (4.0)
The story deals with colour discrimination to a large extent. Being an ' African American' signifies a lot of prejudices against the black community. In fact, the authorities always have a biased opinion on the people living in ghettos. From this incident it is evident that there has been gross injustice towards you. The American law has sentenced an innocent guy. The police has punished you for having saved a cop. If you had listened to your mother you would not have been jailed innocently.

Review of Tears For Two
Review by Boz

Your story appears to be very sensitive. It is a salient fact from the words that you were deeply affected by their disappearance. As you say they were more like brothers to you. Always together and inseparable. I think because they had nobody in the world that's why they befriended you. It is a very emotional relationship. But one thing I don't understand is about the killing. Was it done purposely to make them depart together? Indeed true friendship is very rare nowadays.
