The reviews I do are in the spirit of helping you. What I see may not be what you see. Do not ever change what your vision and heart says should remain. Remembering Winters is a reminiscence of Maine winters. It is a warm story, and I taste the hot chocolate. The tone moves to the point with good even flow making the read enjoyable.

There are two misspelled word and several places that could use a comma. I would also consider editing some of the passive voice sentences.

Comma example:
Thus, I spent many Maine winters creating memories which play fondly in my mind. = memories, which

Spelling:
till = until
snow storms = snowstorms

The Sixtieth Arrow, I will admit is a tough review. The item is listed as poetry. The 11-non-rhymed or metered uneven lined stanzas as written in poetic line breaks. This is one of the most different pieces I've come across. I am also a story telling poet and like a good interesting story and wiggy delivers. I loved the story and teared up on the last two words -that is how much I was drawn into her word of archery. I read the poem in my head and aloud - Iread it fast and slow - I like slow best but regardless the flow is there, and I will say this is an unusual amazing job. Terrific!!

Review of A RAGING STORM

A Raging Storm is a dark love poem. There are 5-quatrains written in the abcb rhyme scheme. The piece flows well with good rhyme. The first two lines set the tone and are my favorite, filled with powerful imagery:

Dark clouds gather in the evening sky,
there will be no setting of the sun this day.

At first I felt that I was reading an allegory but that quickly gave way to what I see as a poem long simile that is neatly tied together by the second to last line:

A raging storm so like the rage I feel inside.

I feel Countrymom has come through for us once again and the poem reads aloud as well as in the head. It's a great poem and I wouldn't change a thing - well don!!

Pleas of an Unemployed Muse, is a very original free-style poem without meter or rhyme. It is said to be written in AD style - ok! Whatever it works and even has great flow from one short line to the next. I like the poem and I really like the originality. Great Job!

Review of Midnight's Kiss

When I write a poem I try to pull on the readers mind, heart or both. I had a feeling by the time I was done reading the first line of Midnight's kiss that I was in trouble. By the fifth line, my tears were flowing. Therefore, if nobody else is touched by this poem I say lucky them, because this is one of the saddest love poems I've ever read. It is beautifully written and now I go to finish my cry. Well done!
