Okay, so. They published one of my poems instead of my story. Here is the link to that poem on both the page it was published, and here on Writing.Com.

Does a chunk of America really think like this? If they do, I feel sad for them because they cannot be open and accepting, but rather are racist and keeping us tied down to the old ways of life. It frightens me, too, as to what would happen if someone like this were to come into office. I'm pretty sure I would leave the country and not look back. Intolerance and prejudice are the two worst things a person can show to another.

I posted 14 pictures that I took of the huge snowstorm going through here right now. They're on facebook, so I'll give you a direct link to them, but you have to be my friend, or the friend of one of my friends, to see the pictures. So if you want to see them, just send me a friend request and don't forget to tell me who you are and that you're from WDC. *Smile*

I finally entered a few of pieces in some contests here. Now if only I was inspired to write something new and enter it, that would be awesome. Maybe this weekend while I'm snowed in some kind of inspiration will hit and I'll write something new for you all. *Smile*

So, like, I totally let other people vent to me here but then I only ever vent back rarely. Except for here. This is the only place that I really post anything, seriously. Mostly because I don't want my "real life" people to find it and sure they can find my port but they can't get into my blog. That's enjoyable to know.

So, yea...the bestie is having all kinds of issues with her classes and everything she's in. Now she spends a lot of time on skype with her boyfriend. I think that's the problem, but I'm too nice to point out that she probably needs to stop doing that and focus on school work instead. Which I think is true, but I'm too nice to say it.

Well I have a lot of work to do for art and I should probably put at least 15 hours into each of these two projects but I really don't have that so I just have to get productive in the time I do have tonight.

So I have a question for anyone who reads my blog...what takes more time? History, Sciences, Arts, or whatever else? I think that at least sciences and arts take roughly the same time but with art you can express yourself and science is just hard facts so it's harder to take in and seems like it takes more time. So, yea, what's your opinion?

So I just heard back from them today and they are going to publish my short story, "Invalid Item, in the February issue. I'll put up a link to it when it's up then.

Also, still doing webpage stuff and need to work more on getting it up sooner rather than later.

I'm finally going to have enough money to put up my web site! This refund check is making it possible so that's great. My parents are actually going to chip in some too because they want to put up their business website but can't create or manage it and want me to do that. So they're going to pay possibly half of my hosting cost and then we'll put their domain under mine and work it that way. I'm so excited to finally put this website to use that I made last year. Sure, it's just all about me and like a bio-site but still. I created it myself and going to work on making it even better tonight and it's just all exciting. I'm really glad that this is the way I want to go as a career because I enjoy it so much. *Bigsmile*

Yea, going through the letters to the editor section, it just made me sick to my stomach that someone could be so condescending and just continually pushing the religious shit in a newsletter that should remain on horror.

This thing just has me so annoyed. If I didn't love the horror newsletter I would unsubscribe because this one editor can't keep their religion where it should be: in their minds and in their churches, not in our newsletters (unless it's the spiritual newsletter).

So, yea, I really wish they would just stop letting them make newsletters but probably not. Oh well, now that I've ranted it's time to move on. If you agree or have anything to say, leave a comment!

Edit: I really hate closed-minded religious people who are so set in their ways that there can be nothing else. Probably the only thing that pisses me off more is people who are against gay marriage and deny homosexuality rights. Oh wait, they're usually the same people. Yay for double the bitching on the same people. *Laugh*

So yea, to people who celebrate Chrissymas, Merry that. To people who don't, Merry/Happy whatever.

Special Happy/Merry Wishes go out to kiyasama, Adriana Noir , Annette , Journey Back to Writing! for sending me their own thoughtful well-wishes and for being awesome, and also to mARi☠StressedAtWork For being my amazing secret santa this year. *Smile*

I'm gonna send more wishes to these people, for always being here and being fun. For brightening my days and just always being there to laugh with, cry with, cuss with, and just anything in between. *Heart* you guys.

Reyah , sunshine014, lady_knight, BChaos , HaleyJo~leaving #1620653 , Rogue♥Sherri , Neko ♥ Away , Kathleen , darkin, and just anyone else that I may have forgotten to add. (You all should know how bad my memory is. *Laugh*)

Aside from all the holiday wishing, here's a video for you. A spoof of the song "Fireflies" done in the form the Harry Potter series Ron/Hermione love issue. Enjoy! *Bigsmile*
