Dream Catcher
Dream Catchers

An ancient Chippewa tradition
The dream net has been made
For many generations
Where spirit dreams have played.

Hung above the cradle board,
Or in the lodge up high,
The dream net catches bad dreams,
While the good dreams slip on by.

Bad dreams become entangled
Among the sinew thread.
Good dreams slip through the center hole,
While you dream upon your bed.

This is an ancient legend,
Since dreams will never cease,
Hang this dream net above your bed,
Dream on, an be at peace.

Hi ya'll, Hubby made it through surgery just fine. Now to the prompt: Pepsi or Coke—now this made me chuckle! (I needed that) I and my hubby are country all the way. It is Coke and peanuts mixed. One of the funniest memories I have is when we went to the A&W drive-in one night. I was to be home at ten. Well—on the way home the rear tire fell off the car. I had to call my dad from someone's house and of he didn't believe me and did I ever get in trouble. But coke and peanuts—no better combo*Laugh*
