O'siyo Oginalii Tsilugi - Hello friends - Welcome - to My first blog. A place to share.
Dream Catcher
Dream Catchers

An ancient Chippewa tradition
The dream net has been made
For many generations
Where spirit dreams have played.

Hung above the cradle board,
Or in the lodge up high,
The dream net catches bad dreams,
While the good dreams slip on by.

Bad dreams become entangled
Among the sinew thread.
Good dreams slip through the center hole,
While you dream upon your bed.

This is an ancient legend,
Since dreams will never cease,
Hang this dream net above your bed,
Dream on, an be at peace.

Prompt: Write about the noise or silence that won't go away

The Silence That Roars

An empty house. Hubby is still at Keck Hospital of USC in LA. I have the dogs and the MDs are starting to talk discharge now. I am very excited. The house has been empty for 4 months. This loud roar wakes me every morning at 1:30 am. I will be glad when it is gone. Good times are in the horizon again*Smile*
