This week is focused on National Days. Starting with today, which is National Frappe Day ! Do you prefer your drinks hot or cold? What kind of blended drinks do you like? One of my favorite childhood memories is watching Grandpa Frank make coffee. When the electric percolator came on the market, Grandpa purchased one. He made his coffee in that percolator every morning, he would put the coffee in a thermos bottle, place the thermos in his lunch box, and take it to work. On the weekends, or holidays, when he didn't have to go to work, he would make numerous pots of coffee everyday. On those days he would put the coffee on, drink a cup with his breakfast, and go out to do his chores. He would leave the coffee to perk in the percolator, until he came back in and he would have another cup of coffee. Coffee perking in a percolator gets stronger the more it perks. Grandpa called this "Cowboy Coffee", How do you take your coffee? Black, unless you have chocolate, then I take it with chocolate. Hot coffee is good in spring, summer, autumn, and winder. Iced coffee is good in winter, autumn, summer, and spring. Coffee makes me cheerful. Caffè mocha makes me happy. I want my coffee hot sometimes with cream sometimes with rich dark chocolate my caffeine muse will sing. Since I learned to drink coffee from my Grandfather, I usually like my coffee strong. However, I am a creative person, so I also like to experiment with my coffee. This mean that I will add flavored creams to it. I will also add instant hot chocolate mix for cafe mocha. When I drink iced tea, I want it sweet. When I drink hot tea, I like to add honey and lemon. I normally don't take cream or anything in my hot tea. |
