Kelly Osbourne was born in 1984 today. Write a pitch for your own talk show- what would you talk about? Whom would you invite to interview? Talk shows aren't my cup of coffee. When Mom was alive, we would watch them together. I found them enjoyable, and, somewhat, educational the first few times. After about the the first week or so, the shows became repetitive and showy, while featuring the same issues with different guests. They covered the surface of whatever issue the guests had, and didn't get deeply enough into the education part to help audience members suffering or dealing with the those issues in their personal life. This brings me to the type of talk show I would want to host. It would have an international theme, and the guest would be from across the world. The first guest I would want is Sahle-Work Zewde, Ethiopia's first female president . Next I would want architects Henry Lape and Saeed Granfar, who collaborated3 on the design of the Papa New Guinea Baha'i House of Worship, which was unveiled on March 21, 2018, Design of national temple unveiled at Naw-Ruz amidst great joy . Another person I would want to feature is Kevin Locke , a Lakota Hoop Dancer, who has performed internationally. I would, also, want to have Mahvash Sabet author of Prison Poems . There are other individuals I would want, such as the secretary-general of the United Nations. I don't want this talk show to be an everyday occurrence. I think once a week would be enough, because I would want to keep the program fresh. It would be difficult to keep a daily talk show fresh, educational, and exciting. Since this talk show would have international subjects, I think once a week would be better. The tile would be "Meet the World" or something like that, possibly even "World Citizens". Footnotes |
Jalál (Glory), 12 ‘Ilm (Knowledge) 175 B.E. - Saturday, October 27, 2018 The World Repaired One heart at a time the tears of a thousand years are dried; the deep heart wounds sutured with forgiveness-love; and the million plus names of God united in a single phrase. Than the Children of the Book, the Children of God, the Chosen Ones, the Saved, become guiding lights on the highway of unity. The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise" prompt for DAY 1776 National Make a Difference Day----what can you do to make a difference? Did you know President Jimmy Carter helps build a house for the under-privileged. How Do You Make a Difference? You make a difference simply by being alive. You make a difference by continuing to survive. You make a difference when you smile, laugh, or pray. You make a difference by getting up every day. You make a difference because you were born at a specific time in history. You make a difference each time you write a poem, an essay, a short story, a novel, a rant, or a thank you note. You make a difference by being you, because there is no other human being exactly like you. The "Blogging Circle of Friends " prompt for DAY 2169 Use these words to inspire your blog entry: major, minor, dynamic, static, round, flat, anxiety, pencil, star. BE: Symbolizes the creative power of God's Word. The letters B and E are merged into dynamic echoes flow through matter and spirit, across time and space to create and recreate the universe. Intoned in both major and minor chords BE reverberates across the cosmos sparking atoms into flight and igniting stars Nothing is static; even in stillness atomic and subatomic particles vibrate to BE's melody. BE is revealed in the movement of light particles and waves as they penetrate or circumambulate flat or round objects. BE calms the poet's anxiety as she picks up a pencil to write. |
