Anthromorphics have been in society for quite a while, most aren't seen as outcast, abombiniations, or any thing else but are very good at what they do. Plus they can do things humanoids couldn't do without equipment or tools, also the anthros are usually taller than most humanoids, of course this differs based on species and whatnot.
