A great Irish tale of a father taking his son for his initial trip to the local Irish pub.

PLOT & CHARACTERS:

He gives his son a taste of the different typical Irish beverages. His son does not like any of the stout or any of the other Irish ales. So his father has to consume each glass. Not finished yet the man gives his son a taste of Jamieson and then a shot of Redhead. Same results. So the father has to drink the whiskey.

(c:green)Now we find out that son is in a pram and therefore a baby. Quite an Irish trick.

This is a delightful poem. An artist's conception of life splashed with the pigments of his/her choice of hues and blended colours of her palette. I can almost see the variations of colour being applied to the canvas. It is these colours which make life a vibrant painting of our lives.

As an amateur artist I found this poem to be delightful.

An interesting poem heralding the coming of spring. It is a celebration with four verses with an A B A B rhyming scheme. There is an interruption of two lines of rhyming couplet.

The poem is directed toward the joy of springtime. I found the poem a delight.

I found this detailed information on the Empire States Building to be extremely interesting. The detail that the author has gone onto is next to amazing. I almost feel like I was a part of the crew that laboured to erect this work of artticuL rt.

Having been able to tour the building during my time in New York I realized that the building is more than just an office building it. It is a work of art.


The author makes that evident in the way he has crafted his writing.

A college student is compelled by his parents to spend Memorial Day assisting his grandfather with some work. He does so relucantly. After working on the yard and a wheelchair ramp he finds the work is being done for an Iraq vet who is paralyzed from the waist down. This changes the young man's opinion.

To me this is a strange story. It starts in the middle and works towards a conclusion which in the final moments turn into a completely different aspect.
A real surprise ending.
