This is a charming, wickedly, delightful story! The author uses adjectives that convey vivid images of both the witch and her victims. The author also has a sense of humor earlier in the story and at the end. This adds extra spice to the story. The author gives a humorous, sly and wonerful twist on the whole concept of witchcraft!
What a powerful, compelling and tragic love story! The author does an excellent job of conveying the tortured wife who became obsessed with her husband. A good job was also done on describing the husband who tried to be understanding and supportive of his wife; especially when they lost their child. The author illustrates how a healthy love can change and turn into a deadly obsession as a result of life circumstances. In this case the circumstance seemd to be the loss of the child. The wife refused to take another chance on having a child and also refused to seek therapy. The author's story was sadly realistic inasmuch love can become twisted and destructive. There is power and sadness and the end is tragic indeed.
This is an interesting story! The author builds up the momentum of the story with the conversation that Jed has with the woman in his dream. The author also returns to the dream with a deja vu scene. The difference is that this time Jed quits; not waiting to see if the woman will do in reality what she did in the dream.
This is a powerful and compelling story! The author does an excellent job in describing the family; the fear; the struggle and the beliefs! As I read it; it brought back memories of my experience in the South!. The father's words and advice also reminded me of Martin Luther King. The author also painted a clear picture of the racism and cruelty and inhumanity of the Klan. The legacy of the father was one of determination to live and not to fall into the violent pit of the enemy.
This was an interesting story and certainly speaks to being honest and trusting! The fact that the advertisement misrepresented the actual place is not something new although it certainly was a sad thing for the new bride and groom! The author has a strong spirit which is attested to by the efforts to make the best of the situation in spite of the all of the negatives. Truly these efforts were rewarded by getting some of their money back. One thing for sure; this honeymoon was one not to be forgotten!
What a powerful, magnificent and sad story! The author combines various elements to make this a great one! The sense of pride and joy; the gratitude that is expressed at the family meal; the honor brought by the oldest son's victory and even the sadness of the taunting of the younger son; all enhance the depth and richness of the story! The unexpected sacrifice at the end brings the story full circle!
This is an excellent mystery piece! The author commands the use of adjectives and surprise and skill in telling this story! The author manages to reel in the reader just by the smoothness and the unlikelihood of the theft's plan. Then, the author continues to build the story; brick upon brick; enticing the reader with each detail and element. At the very end the author reveals the secret or so it appears! The dectective is the thief also!

This is a very compelling and interesting story! The author uses descriptive language and different twists throughout that keep the reader transfixed to the story. The author uses the relationship between the brother as a tie-in to conflict; especially in the end. The elaborate lengths that the brother went to in order to seek revenge was extensive indeed. In the end; a lot of issues have come up; the brothers' relationship; the desire to be recognized as a writer and the quirkiness nature brought to life through the tape recorder.
This is an interesting poem about weapons and their sting. The author speaks about the positive and negative aspects of a knife and a sword. The author's language speaks to the power over life that each weapon can demonstrate. When the author speaks about the masters demise and corruption giving power, I am reminded of a sword which brings to mind the duel concept. In terms of dancing as one; both are weapons and both can bring death. In times of anger or prideful vengance; both are called into play by man.
This is a powerful poem! The author uses language that speaks to pain that has been inflicted and to the impact and significance that is felt by the one who received the pain. The author implies at times and once clearly states that the damage that has been done is hidden away or forgotten. This statement is supported by the statement ; show me the past. A memory I seem to have forgotten. This speaks to how quickly we sometimes forget the damage that we do to others that is severe and remembered by others.

The ending is the most touching for it truly tells the story of the immense aching and broken heart that will perhaps never heal.
This is a light and delightful love story! The author manages to describe the relationship of the family in a clear manner. The role of obedience and nobility and marriage is presented directly and concretely. The fact that the daughter obeyed although she was dismayed seemed to allow the opportunity of a different suitor to win. The fact that this suitor is her original heart's desire is sweet and a pleasure to know.
This is a wonderful, imaginative, remarkable story! The author uses very beautiful and descriptive language to tell the story. The author also delves into the imagination where everything is possible; to fulfill the man's dream. The adventure to find the flower; to reach the flower and finally to pick the flower is exciting and full of wonderment! The ending of the story is fitting for the flower is from another realm where the man's dream and imagination carried him for a short period of time; then brought him back into the earthly world where imagination does not always join reality.
This poem is about a search and discovery of one's true self! The author expresses the need to discover and the journey and the pitfalls that were encountered. The author also manages to accept life's uncertainity and be okay as the discovery of life has been revealed through the travels and the freedom people afforded in the quest.
This is a very moving, sad and powerful tribute to the little boy who was killed! It also reflects the depth of guilt that the policeman must feel; knowing of his part in the boy's death. The author does an excellent job of portraying the sadness and the tragic moments of it all. The author also speaks of remorse and a willingness to exchange a lived life for an innocent one. The author also manages to use humor in a wonderful way that highlights some of the frustrations that arise; especially when brand names are supposed to be the best!
