Every sentient being knows the difference between right and wrong, some just choose to do the latter, as if it didn't matter, it does. For the latter to exist and flourish requires only that good women do nothing. For those in the mind to do something whether paying back or paying forward.

An imagination held on a leash much like a junkyard dog is not socialized enough to be allowed its freedom without instructions to be followed, without unintended reactions that can have detrimental consequences. Before taking the arm of a blind person in order to help them it is necessary to first ask permission to render the assistance, otherwise it is considered an assault, no matter how well intended.
in metaphor an assault on the senses.

In evolving past the point of sentience we realize that we are a part of something greater than the sum of all our parts. It is that something that makes us look out into space at all those stars almost in an act of self examination yearning to be there among them.

Review of My Dragon House
Review by macbeth
Rated: E | (4.0)
When my dragon first appeared to me it was on my shoulder as a reflection in the mirror and like the Cheshire cat from Alice in wonderland it vanished slowly leaving only its smile behind which in turn faded into nothingness. She knows I know she's there, for that was the purpose of revealing herself. I am careful what I wish for knowing she is protective of me and choose my words carefully before saying them aloud, though I am thinking she can read my mind.

An out of body experience culminating in the realization of an axiom "that the more you know, the less you know." The confusion is in thinking they are both absolutes rather than each being relative to different preconceptions. The more you know is based upon the learning of information, the less you know is based upon knowledge and the wisdom of its use. Similiar to the thinking involved of the one who knew the price of everything and the value of nothing.

Review of Love
Review by macbeth
Rated: E | (4.0)
All things being relative, this metaphor is as relevant as any of the many description of love, like snowflakes in winter, endless and varied, this one as a child waiting to go home comes finally out of the cold. Home could use a new coat of paint now that the old tenants have gone.
A little basic but with a happy ending.

Review of ghost of you
Review by macbeth
Rated: E | (4.0)
The eleventh minute of the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month is significant in its rememberance of the fallen. For all those who stand inwait, if only my wishing made it so the body and the mind would heal without a scar.

Review of Alone
Review by macbeth
Rated: E | (4.0)
If we are not all on islands in the stream that passes, some rooted, some floating freely, than perhaps in a boat that needs to be rowed gently, taking advantage of the current. While being alone for the inexperienced can be daunting, it is not the same as being lonely, though ironically enough "misery love company", especially the three of (me, myself and i).

Review of What next?
Review by macbeth
Rated: E | (4.0)
I am uncertain of all the other pertinent parameters but this allows only the one choice be registered, rather than two, restrictions inevitably lead to a narrow selection of the interested and the curious. Speed and volume are opposing forces unless it is the weight of water waiting.

Review of Rain
Review by macbeth
Rated: E | (4.0)
It rains so that we might hide "the tracks of our tears", in the disguise of it watery design. Being caught in an unexpected downpour can be annoying but if by intention you walk out into a shower with the anticipation of a desert waiting for rain, it can be a different story.

Review of On Nihilism
Review by macbeth
Rated: E | (4.0)
I don't know if they can handle the "truth" but there are no absolutes save one, everything dies. Unless of course in a circular argument all the objects in an expanding universe are actually going in the same direction in which case the end would relatively speaking be the beginning. Regardless there is no memory beyond the singularity and its event horizon and we are after all what we remember.
Our tendency to be tribal is predicated on our assumption that our teachers are truthful, it depends on what they fill us with, when we are empty.

The gift of the "present" around the fire for they say that time is the fire in which we burn and for those living in this dimension there is only "now" and each moment passes quickly and in only the one direction without any chance of recall. Seize the opportunity that presents for it only knocks the once.

An identity crisis of predator and prey trying to determine which is the hunted and which is hunting or more precisely when to be either for neither is not an option. One gives the other takes knowing that they are just sides of survival, just signs of one's survival written in the other's blood.

When you are both spontaneous and enigmatic simultaneously it is difficult to be the focus of affection because the field of vision is so narrow and any (e)motion becomes a blur. Find a favourite colour that highlights your distraction and cast with a forward action before reeling attention.

The young do not always do what they are told, but then again neither do the old. In the search for meaning and the longing for purpose pheromones often get in the way of logic. In a world where the media reflects the attitude that monogamy is monotony, it all becomes a house of mirrors. As long as the control is in the hands of hypocrites we are all subject to the effects of their mendacity.

"Teacher! Leave those kids alone." Commas are more calming, but like stones in the stream, can make the brook babble. Rather than come to a complete stop you can inhale and keep on talking and as such is not as dramatic as a full pause. A more pertinent question might be, Is a coma related to a comma?

A picture worth a thousand words, a face that could launch a thousand ships to do the bidding of the queen. Webs enough for all in which to be tangled and entangled, woven so that there is no escape from the dreams you might encounter in your stay. Review of Seasons

Both of them lonely in the same way, both of them sorry that words got in the way. It is a measure of passion that that the heat of the moment can burn away the debris and leave the artifacts intact, the fire at the same moment revealing and protecting.

Review of Good Call
Review by macbeth
Rated: E | (4.5)
Answering the call of nature, all in the vein of the one that got away in that greener grass of youth. You always remember the first because you always remember the original thirst as if it were engraved. To ask the question,"What if?" raises many possibilities and their unintended consequences while providing a distraction from burdens carried. Realising "For each part of the past we would take with us into the future we must also leave a part of ourselves behind in the present."

Love's asymmetry from the perspective of the one that loves the more, realizing that it is possible to love without being loved in return. Knowing finally that while it hurts so much to hold it, seemingly in paradox it hurts too much to let it go. Like being between a rock and a hard place.

Sunshine, blue skies and a heat that is almost unbearable in the humidity that surrounds you when you are separated from the cool refreshing air you need to breathe just for survival. Which is another way of saying "most times you don't know what you've got until it's gone."

Review of Reflection
Review by macbeth

Stream of consciousness is one way of getting in the boat and though water runs downhill it is always possible if tiring to row against the current. It is an easier journey to just float an average. All things change from what they were, to what they are, to what they will become but in the end there is one absolute.

An optimistic if wary view of someone trying to make a connection to another by reaching out of that restricted personal space we call our own and guard with such impunity. A tenative touch of word and gesture that suggests in tangling our web as a precaution one risks becoming entangled. While I have always found that "honesty is the best policy" in order to be open it is not always necessary to be as brutal as cautious.
good presentation with acceptable redundancy.

My mind refuses to think of itself as anything but eighteen years old regardless of the stranger's face that is reflected in the mirror. A dicotomy that often starts a conversation between it and my body which pays the price of listening to the adolescent.
As funny as familiar.
