Homecoming Dance

Prompt: Did you go to your Homecoming Dance?

I always went to Homecoming. We didn't have a football team at our school. We had basketball. The B-Team played first. B-Team was a waste of time. We had the Varsity Game. Between games, the Homecoming Queen was crowned. I was nominated for Homecoming Queen candidate but didn't get it. We had a dance afterwards. I didn't have a steady boyfriend so I danced with male friends. As for winning the Varsity Game, we lost. This was my Junior year.

In my Senior year, I had a boyfriend but I wasn't crazy about him. He knew it. He was ten years older then me. We went to Homecoming. Our team won the game that year. There was a dance afterwards. My boyfriend danced like he was shooting arrows. He talked to the devil in a weird language and drove me crazy. I finally broke up with him.

The best thing about Homecoming was the dance.
