Symbolism

Prompt: Do you often use symbolism in your writing?

I was always good at English Class and Literature and the teachers wanted us to point out symbols. This wasn't my best talent but I managed. When I write a story, I suppose the symbols are there but I just sit down and write. I just hope the story makes sense and I have no errors. I looked up symbols and learned that angels mean salvation and there were a few other things which I will keep in mind in my future stories. I guess I learned something new.
