Writing Is Lonely Work

Prompt: They say writing is lonely work. What do you think?

Writing is lonely work. You sit down to write and it is you and your characters. People who don't write don't get it. I have one close friend who loves to write but she works a full time job and doesn't have time. My husband never liked English and writing, so he doesn't get it. I am in my own world when I write. I feel alone but I have my characters and WDC friends so they get it. I like a few friends around at a time so being a lonely writer is alright with me.
