Blog City Prompt: April is Poetry Month. What does poetry mean to you?

In poems, we express our emotions about love, life, nature and what ever is in one's heart. Poetry is beauty, warmth and uplifts one's spirits. You can tell a story in a poem and you could have the words rhyme or not. It is a way to express emotions or life's elements anyway you want. Poetry is a part of writing and a writer can write anything he or she wants and get a beautiful message across and some poets write dreary stuff but this is their choice. Either way, we can express ourselves.

BCOF Prompt: Lyn asked if we planted a garden what kind would we grow and what would we grow?

I would plant a flower garden. I love roses, tulips, violets, pansies, Sweet Williams, Impatiences and I would love to have a flower garden of these. Two acres of these in different colors would be nice. Maybe little fairies could live there, too. I would even welcome a bunny or two.
