See the ice?

"Look careful, son,
and you will see
how winter changes
leaf and tree.

"Vapor freezes
from the air.
The sun's way south -
its heat's all there.

"See the ice?"


"What's this guy's tale?"
Doc asked the cop.
"He lived alone,
his life a flop.

"No loving arms
to make his day."
"Well, now I get
his chest x-ray."

"See the ice?"
