In the small, isolated town of Eldergrove, a sinister custom emerges once every decade for a single, harrowing week. During this time, the adult men of the town, driven by a disturbing and unspoken agreement, target the younger girls, obsessing over their feet in a predatory ritual. This week, known only in hushed whispers as"The Harvest Step," sees the men stalking their prey through the town's shadowy woods and quiet streets, exploiting innocence under the guise of tradition. The girls, aware of the looming danger, attempt to hide or flee, but the town's oppressive atmosphere and the complicity of its elders make escape nearly impossible.
