Why I get up in the morning... |
| I awake, the sweet sound of your heartbeat in my ear. The sexy scent of you, sleeping, tingles all my senses. Not wishing to leave your arms, I lay staring, As if my wish were printed in the folds of your skin. I suppose I woke you, my breath, hot, steaming the room. You cup my chin in your hand, melting me, instantly. A few hours later, when the alarm clock screams, We realize, time hasn't stopped and With a final kiss we part. The world, and all its demands, had pulled us apart, temporarily. Your work and mine, allowing us to live, to eat, To breathe. But pressure takes its toll on us, Tension and deadlines break us down, Leave us starving for The night! |
