A Religious poem about dealing with a lingering problem.

THE THORN IN MY SIDE!

The thorn in my side
Has but one reason,
And that - to keep me
From losing my soul.

The road that is hardest
Is often least taken,
Yet, always achieves
You the goal.

I thank God for my thorn
And the focus it gives me.
For it keeps me
From going astray.

And the road that I travel,
Though by most others,
Forsaken, shall take me
To heaven one day.
