Quite an unusual Christmas...

MY CHRISTMAS: 2009

Excited? No, I am filled with angst.
Isolated on the brink of change.

Christmas is not gleeful, happy and free
but somber, unstable... a sorrowful dirge.

I am hopeful, yet sad and full of wonder
as life extends grace amidst rumble of thunder.

The final storm is approaching; I see its face.
I am comforted, though tearful, within God's embrace.
