HEARTS BROKEN!

A poem about trying again.

HEARTS BROKEN!

It is true, others have torn
Our hearts apart, but
I will not give up on love.

Not believing as I do, and
Knowing that my world
Could be a better
Place with you.

Hearts can mend,
If, the right love can
Be found to heal them.

So, this is what I’m offering,
A piece of my heart
For a piece of yours.
In hope that love can heal us both.

For hope I believe,
Is better than despair, and
Love, far stronger than our fears.
