Before

Just a short poem i wrote after a tough break-up with my boyfriend.

Before each other,
we were both kids.
you changed me,
i changed you.
you taught me some things,
lessons I’ll never forget.
I’ll never trust, or
love
as easily again.
Thank you
for the time we shared together,
hold onto the memories…

but don’t hold onto us.
