False Impressions

Ever thought someone was something they weren't...

I had a friend once, but not anymore,
My heart was broken so I shut the door,
The alcohol, The apologies, not an excuse!
One friend on your list that you will lose.

We had a past, a present, but not anymore,
Some good, some bad, but what was it for?
For it to be chucked back in my face,
Do you not now think, what a waste?

I was always there for you, but not anymore,
The friendship we did have, you did tore,
It could've been one of your worst mistakes,
Because now I know the whole friendship was FAKE!
