Man And Beast

The struggle between man and dragon

Mythical creatures, mystical beasts
Mystical people, memorable feasts

Harvest aplenty, food within reach
The dragons swoop in, food they do eat
Suddenly the food supply is no longer do deep

Time to rebuild and do it all again
It's not a party or celebration
Just part of being human

Out on the hunt, dragons we do slay
Hoping this time, they stay out of our way

The food has finally grown once again, and harvest we do
And even though we got some, the dragons return for their food

The hunters step in, determined to stop it from happening again
This time they stop the dragons, while only a few of them die
The last few dragons fly off, and the hunter let out a cry
Not because they won, but because they protected the supply
