Once I made a big mistake. I changed my mind much too late to save the day. Now I balance all my steps upon a wire stretched from oasis to the end, correcting just enough to keep from falling. So when the morning melts into the here and now and you see me beside the road with every question unanswered, you're forgiven for passing by as I stand here alone.
