He comes to her quietly in the night.
Two sad and lonely lives
seek solace from the dark.

Two hearts, intertwined, beat as one.
Forgotten darkness recedes;
shared passion eases the pain.

He slips away as dawn is breaking.
Soothed by gentle caresses;
comforted by soft words of love.

She cries as the sun reappears.
The long day awaits;
another nightfall a lifetime away.
