Nothing Ensnared by Keaton Foster Nothing Ensnared Truth Declared Reason Meaning Such is The season Words Weapons Godless Gods Unapologetic Expressions Telling While yelling Screaming Aloud Hear this Feel me Understand What is clear What is not Limit nothing Be a sponge In a lake Feel the weight Know the pain Take in What you can Leave out What you must Have no regrets Know your limits Between the lines Hides Meaning and reason A semblance of truth And all else that eludes I am incapable Of making it easy If it were to simple Then most everyone Would understand Laymen is a term That increasingly I am uncomfortable with Nothing Ensnared Taken Brought closer Into view Set upon the stoop Waiting for you Outside the door Not of your home But of your mind Take it inside Or leave it where it is Such a choice Matters most At least to me… Nothing Ensnared Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2008-2019 |
