In celebration of imagination. |
| We took a trip to Disneyland upon a carpet made of shag. It had a spoiler in the back to lessen aeronautic drag. Among the living we flew on (the living being crows and geese.) We notified the FAA* and we were given freedom’s lease. The new year had a magic start; suspension of reality. Up in the air on carpet green— we disregarded gravity. Below, the ground was white with snow as Blue Ridge Mountains towered high. Yet as we soared more to the south, the warmer air compelled a sigh. Our destination soon appeared— collective glee was well defined. Life is too short to not take rides on magic carpets of the mind. *FAA…Federal Aviation Administration 20 Lines Writer’s Cramp Co-Winner 1-5-20 Requirements: —a trip to Disneyland —among the living —the new year —white with snow —life is too short |
