Happy Birthday to Bianca and Robert.

I plan a surprise birthday bash
for two Writer’s Cramp Judges,
February born, when family
and friends
Hooray!
when copious amounts
of confetti fill the air,
and onlookers clap
as candles are
blown out.
Covertly
I arrange this
birthday soiree;
how secretive I plan
each and every step…
thus to see genuine surprise
upwelling, and perhaps
even a blush of countenance.
So fine an arrangement
comes to be, a party
playing out, the
joyfulness of
two birthdays here
to celebrate, two cakes
with candles, two days
to honor earnestly.
