Anger

A poem I wrote in 2008 when I was dealing with family issues.

It doesn't matter what you do
It doesn't matter what you say
All that matters is that you hurt me
In every single way
I try to make it better
I try to make it right
But you wouldn't even listen
To my helpless plight
If you want to hate me
If you just don't care
Go ahead and do it
It only seems fair
I'll just sit inside my corner
Watching all the fun
Remembering the anger
Until my days are done.
