Sovereignty or the right of self-rule is an interesting concept as ultimately there is only One who is self-ruled.
Ironically many of the individuals talking about sovereign rights of Venezuela in defense of its dictator are the same ones who deny honest citizens rights and seek to empower government in the place of the almighty. Ultimately sovereignty like individual rights comes from God and are given taken away by Him. All nations and leaders have certain divine rights, but they also have certain responsibilities and when these are neglected misused such authorities and nations will suffer. Scripture says that righteousness exalts nations, but sin is a reproach to any people any people (Proverbs 14:34).

One of the teachers I listen to in talking about why he is pret-rib acknowledged that the importance of the timing itself is secondary, but such beliefs affect how we interpret scripture and live life in view of God's character in this I totally agree.

Many Christians will point to men like Ray Boltz, who gave in to a reprobate mind, were never really saved. While in his case I don't know there are men who have testimonies of decades before they turn. You may be a devil filled witch and fool churches for a while but to have good fruit for so many years is impossible without the Holy Spirit.

This affects us because we should keep a careful guard on ourselves and our brothers while acknowledging that we all are saved sinners and there is a difference between falling and falling away. This also means for say Christian icons who truly followed God for years we can really appreciate their work while abhorring the sin they embraced.

I was thinking about the question for deacons etc as we took communion last Sunday. Those passing out thew elemments had suit coats or jackets, but otherwise varied from teas-shirts and Jeans to full-fledged suits. I commented that it seemed at least for church leadership that it they should usually wear suits while no suits and very casual but appropriate clothing would be worn perhaps one a month. The reason for this is the display of the Lord's purity and holiness as well as the freedom we have in him as David danced before the Lord would be both physically demonstrated for the congregation.

John 18:35-37
35 “Am I a Jew?” Pilate replied. “Your own people and chief priests handed you over to me. What is it you have done?”
36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

37 “You are a king, then!” said Pilate.

Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”

It is amazing that anyone would question the politics of God. The reason the World hates us is because we testify on God's behalf that what is done is evil as Jesus did when talking to his brothers (John 7:6-8). While many twist this and advance a social gospel the power of Christ is evident in all corners of the world. The time of the Lord is not come, and evil must have its day first God is seeking to be absolute ruler of our hearts no devotion comes above him (Deuteronomy 6:4-5)

So how do we participate in the politics of Christ? We ae of course his ambassadors meaning we are his subjects every day. Many misapply the great commission when in fact Not all Christians were called here however, we are called to represent Christ and spread his word/glory as his representatives in whatever we do. This is wherre regeneration comes in because in our Flesh we can't be loyal to God only those born again are freed in in thought, attitude, and soul to glorify our Father in Heaven.

Matthew 22:13-15

13 “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

14 “For many are invited, but few are chosen.”

Grace invites us in it does not force us to accept the Lordship of God but if we deny his Lordship he can deny us grace.

Many today equate AI with the beast system and say the death of the two witnesses proves mast communication at that time and it may be so, but not necessarily. Why for instance are horses mentioned so much? AS far as communication the world could be linked by demonic messenger for this will be a time when the supernatural and natural are closer together than ever before. This does not mean we could not almost destroy ourselves before the end however. Regardless of how the end comes and despite what men say there are still some things that must happen like the rebuilding of the temple of Jerusalem. For fun below are some verses from Revelation possibly pointing to a lower tech society in which animals are again a great mode of transportation.

Revelation 14:20
They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses’ bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia.

Revelation 18:13
cargoes of cinnamon and spice, of incense, myrrh and frankincense, of wine and olive oil, of fine flour and wheat; cattle and sheep; horses and carriages; and human beings sold as slaves.

Revelation 19:18
so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, great and small.”

Christians greatest weakness and greatest strength is the Truth. As demonstrated in the gospels Jesus does not tell us everything and Christians can be great statesmen, not being above a little politicking like Paul who knew how to divide the Sanhedrin. Christians are called to be as shrew as serpents and innocent as doves. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. Christians walk in truth. Unlike nearly every other belief system, from Islam to the Atheist, which actually encourage lying to advance their agendas In the The Christian relationship we are calle to walk in the light and proclaim the truth. This is one reason why the faithful are feared and hated because of their unadulterated penchant for truth.

In scripture we are told to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us(Matthew 5:44) as well as bless and not curse (Romans 8:14), but we certainly don't want evil counsel to succeed. So how do you pray for evil men of power?

In my own life I pray firstly that wicked men see the light of Christ and repent, but I also pray that if not they may lose their power to others of more Godly bent. Examples of such prayers I believe range from local men such as doctors who murder babies or the old to kings and presidents who push blatantly antibiblical values such as gender confusion.

It is ironic that Witches will curse Christians because of their values yet how often do we pray for the failur of evil. This is not wishing evil upon the lost or asking for the destruction of livelihoods, should we not however pray first of the sucess of the gospel and the repentance of men but also for the deliverance from evil as the Lords prayer itself asks.

Jesus talked about bad branches and fruit quite a bit. Our works do not save us but if we are in him they will manifest. Based on the existence of covenants and different types of promises ie conditional and unconditional prove the falseness of the argument for eternal security. Those for eternal security might argue that this makes faith a religion of works, nothing could be further from the truth. all who believe in the existence of various conditional and unconditional promises acknowledge that no works can save us. It would actually be contrary to the goodness of God to force one who is in Freedom to serve him.

Jesus gave further examples of the type of covenant he had established in both the parable of the sower and the wedding banquet. Hebrews makes it clear the sacrifice covers our sin once and for all but for those who trample on such sacrifice are in eternal trouble.

The false assertion is then often made that if we can fall away then any sin could separate us, nothing could be further from the truth for God is gracious and forgiving does not scripture say in talking to believers that there is a sin that leads to death (1 John 5:16).

These covenants necessitate different types of destiny from conditional to absolute. Indeed, predestination does not necessitate eternal security. Does not scripture say many are called but few are chosen (Matthew 22:14)? Even if there were absolute destiny, which in some cases there are like the destiny of the devil because he went beyond the point of no return, this does not require absolute destiny for everyone. Scripture warns multiple times and multiple ways about the Christian quenching the fire or growing cold.

Now many of Disney's messages are clearly not friendly to the gospel of Jesus, but one movie in the midst of its feel goodism, pantheism, and typical platitudes did offer one for those seeking to portray Christ. What was that biblical advice? Quite simply Acuna Matata- In talking to those who are following Christ Scripture simply says don't be anxious about anything but in prayer and petition present your request to God (Philippians 4:5-7).

Obviously this is not the same as running away from responsibility, but if applied appropriately this is how we should appproach the cares of the world because of the supremacy of God.
