Has anyone else never heard of The Black List? It's a screenwriting site that offers over 100 free, legal screenplays for download. The list includes a wide range of choices, from Hollywood blockbusters to small arthouse films. I've just started my two-week screenwriting course and thought I'd share this gem! I think it's a great resource for dialogue if nothing else! The Black List
Just completed my second prompt.

It's a great idea. I should follow suit. Oh, and it sounds like something you could do in conjunction with "Give It 100!"
I spoke to a young man that did this for a year and the next year he had enough material to self-publish a collection. You could do worse! Good luck Lox.
I have tried it thrice and have failed every time. But i did have the many stories. Around 23, i could manage.

It is with a heavy heart I let you all know my brother passed away last Tuesday. He had been given six months to live, but that was only seven weeks ago. I doubt I will be very active for the coming week, and I apologise in advance if I do not complete anything I said I would, everything is a bit of a blur right now.
Hey, everyone! I've got a number of short horror stories I'm polishing up, but I seem to be hitting a wall finding somewhere to get them published, or contests to enter them in. I can find a few pretty seedy looking places, but I'm looking for respected, professional anthologies, magazines or contests. Preferably in the UK, but as long as they accept entries from a UK resident, I'm open to anywhere!
Lox, have you considered the pro and semi-pro magazines? Lightspeed, Strange Horizons, Analog, Clarksville, ect? If you go to the SWFA website, you will see a list of top-paying magazines that will be likely to accept horror stories.
