becoming aware of God's prescence |
| The Absent Almighty Suffering unimaginable. Joyous celebrations of others. Massive achievements and disasters. No response . The births of sons and daughters Soldiers fallen in duty. Nurses comforting convalescents. Old ones left to die alone. No stirring or tremble. Hands delivering boxes of food to the feeble. Goverments rendering nations unstable. Couples seeking science-assisted procreation. Sons and daughters in dumpsters and furnaces. No prescence is felt. Deep calleth unto deep. Then listen.... Enlightenment! Eyes opened. Heartstrings plucked out of place swell with compassion and moving freely. Seeing now that He is . The stubborn and unseeing seeking the absent Almighty. Now sees by submitting himself and trembles awe-struck and humbled. Breath of God now evident. It is we who have been absent. We who have not seen you while you have seen us as the sparrows that rise and fall. He is in all that is. Even if we do not choose to see. That He is ever present. Kimarie June 30th 2009 |
