Exercise in head and tail rhyme for Fall. |
| Fall's Fancy Four busy grey squirrels hunt dormant seeds amid the leaves to store before first snow. Chores to survive, a must do. Pine cones gathered, nine in a neat narrow row. Sign of the season, lined near a sad scarecrow. In the early autumn morning, spinning spiders play, thin lacey cobwebs pinned and on display. Keep the bonfires burning, sleep when ere you can. Sweep away lazy summer, leap into fall, be a fan. ~~Judi Van Gorder Notes: ▶︎ |
